Academics How Fast Will Math Classes Fill Up?

I'm a freshman with junior standing and I want to take classes next semester that don't have many seats. The prerequisites are at most the honors session of MATH 314; I'm currently taking the regular session but my professor said he would vouch for me to override the honors-prerequisite. I was looking at the override permission form and it looks like it can take a while after initial registration to be approved. Based on my classes, what are the chances I'll actually be able to register for them?

Here are the classes (I'm not taking all of these at the same time, I just have backups in case I don't get the classes I want):

416H: Honors Abstract Linear Algebra

424: Honors Real Analysis

441: Differential Equations

453: Number Theory

461: Probability Theory

The non honors classes you will probably be able to sign up for as long as you fill out the 400 level override. I’m not sure how competitive the honors courses are to get these days, but as long as you do good in your classes this semester, you will probably have a good chance of getting them.

the math dept only does honors overrides if you meet all of the requirements. for 424/427 you need one of 314/416 and 3 upper div math courses.
