Academically, like so many people are like

Because some people would rather run the risk of being punished due to academic misconduct if it means they don't have to spend hours upon hours studying for an exam

i think cheaters always find a way out, even when they get caught. They know the system so well.

Yeah I agree with this. They have like tons of money they can pay off the school

i hear thats why some clubs are so picky because theres an underground test/file sharing, amongst certain clubs.

I remember hearing about the chinese international students having entire telegram cheating channels where TA's would leak tests

Lol there were kids straight up googling questions during class on my last midterm. It’s not even a hard class

Just got out of a lower division course midterm and I spotted a bunch of them. Probably more than half of students cheating. They dim their laptop’s brightness and somehow type things out in a multiple choice exam. One of them even asked to take out his phone to be able to log back in into canvas with Duo after closing the lockdown browser and ask Gemini for the question answers. I wonder why the TA didn’t think that was suspicious lol. I really wanted to snitch on him cause I was doing all the work on a scratch of paper meanwhile this and many students are probably getting a higher grade with less effort.

Probably because it is so easy

Let’s hope they aren’t headed for Med.

LMAO.

^^Same is true of doctors, pilots, engineers, etc. Apparently diversity is the highest good.

I mean just look at the LSAT website https://www.lsac.org/resources-schools Click through the various webpages, look at the stock photos and tell me if you notice anything

  1. Because it's easy, professors don't get anything for preventing it, and it is a pain to report and hard to prevent

  2. Because of the demographics

Hey, since I know you have quite the expertise based on your attitude, what does the inside of a locker smell like after you’ve been locked inside for 45 mins?

Good lord... Your comment history is rife with racist groyper bullshit.

A grad program accepted you? Whoever did your interview clearly didn't have their narcissistic underachiever detector that day.

ur first point makes sense but I have no idea what ur second point means

u/insanelygreat 14h ago

Their second point gets a lot clearer when you see some of the things they've said.

For example, here was their message to someone in the country legally (source):

Of course you want to come here, because you are a parasite and wish to surround yourself and be enriched by the fruits of your superiors, which you and others like you could never recreate on your own. Leave while you can still do so voluntarily.

So, yeah, they're a loser who projects their insecurities onto others through bigotry.

Please report, I report every single person I observe/hear about academic dishonesty. I don’t care if it’s “snitching” it’s immoral and if the class/prof sucks then if scores are skewed bc of cheaters it can cost a curve/buffer/change in teaching

You’re not a dork. I would never call the cops on anyone, but academic cheaters make the world a worse and dumber place. I find if they fail for making our school suck.

Are test just not proctored?

The whole cheating thing is making me reconsider transferring there. Cheating is not part of the culture in my current school. You are allowed any electronics whatsoever.

I want to go somewhere where students value learning. I’ve also heard teaching is almost nonexistent in some classes. But UCSD was my first choice because I’m in marine science and most my upper level classes would be at Scripps.
