Jobs/Careers UCD MSc Advanced AI offer — how‘s the AI job market in Dublin?

I got an offer for UCD's MSc Advanced AI (starting Sept 2027) and I plan to stay and work in Ireland after graduating. I know the job market is tough right now, so I want to be realistic — how's the AI job market in Dublin for a fresh master's graduate? Is it realistic to land a junior AI/ML role? Any honest takes appreciated.

Question Height adjustable desks

Probably a silly question but I’ve never booked a seat in the library before - only ones that seem to be available are wheelchair accessible height adjustable desks. Can I book one of these if I’m not in a wheelchair / don’t need the height adjustment?

General James joyce library

We need to strike against these mfs that leave their entire belongings then go back to their dorms to jerk off or whatever they're doing. Whole ass row be empty with laptops on them am tempted to start robing them at this point. College needs to be involved it's getting ridiculous.

Question Does UCD use ai detectors on turn it in?

To be honest I did use a little bit of ai to help with my essay. I used it to brainstorm, then I used it to clean up some my writing. On gbtzero, it says my essay is 100% human. But I've never had an essay scanned on turn it in for AI so I don't know what to expect.

I'm new to UCD so I'm not sure what process is on turn it in

General Price of milk in Centra

Is it just me or has the price of a litre of the centra own brand milk gone from €1.30 to €1.96 since I last bought it?? How is this even legal? When I went earlier the 500ml ones were still 80c so they were all gone, and the 1L is now €1.96. A 46% price increase.

Question Falling behind and don’t know what to do…

I’m a first year Business & Law student, I’m making this post because I’ve fallen behind and my brain won’t allow me to study and retain anything, I’ve missed a few classes for personal reasons and I’m starting to have fear and I also really don’t want to resit modules or repeat the year. Is this course easy to catch up on and are there any supports to help me?
