Tech Support Twitch app not loading streams

Hi guys! I wanted to try asking here along with sending a report ticket to Twitch. Ever since my Twitch app updated on the 23rd, there's been issues loading the streams. They're either frozen on a single frame or the screen is black. The chat works though!

I have made sure my Android Samsung A13 is up to date, and my Xfinity internet works. I even called them and they said there were no issues. The app actually works fine on someone else's hotspot at my job and Twitch works in browser. The app just isn't working on my internet for some reason. It did work briefly when I tried turning on my limited data and then turning my wifi back on, but this doesn't seem to last too long before it finds a way to freeze again. And of course, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, data, and restarted my phone a ton of times.

I'm guessing it must be a bug, I just hope I'm not alone. If you know anything, please let me know! Thank you.

I'm having the same issue. It is actually a massive delay in loading. If you leave it alone after clicking your chosen stream, eventually it will load. But it takes forever.

I don't know why they hate mobile users, but they're constantly finding new & creative ways to make the app horrible.

Yeah! It does load now if I wait a bit, but it's still annoying and kinda spotty. Hopefully it starts to clear up.

Hi! I just tried a free cloud flare VPN app on Google play for 1.1.1.1 and it actually fixed the issue when I turned it on. The other commenter here suggested it, maybe it'll work for you too!

since it works on a hotspot and in the browser, it sounds like something between the app and your home network. worth trying clearing the twitch app cache and data, or uninstalling and reinstalling it. also worth trying changing the dns on your phone's wifi settings to something like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, and restarting the router. if the stream quality is set to auto, try forcing a lower one to see if it loads.

I'm going insane. It's only on the app, only on my wifi and only on this phone. It works in every over device and even on my phone on browser, and on the app if I connect to literally any other wifi. What in the trifecta is this??
