Tech Support Constant Lag
Hello, im not sure if it's because im aussie and our net is just ass, but i have tried a few different browsers and twitch is just always so laggy it's practically unwatchable, i just wanna be able to watch my cs tournaments. If you have any recommendations or settings I should try for like opra gx because it has so much or whatever please let me know

Usually this comes down to network routing or the browser rather than just the connection speed. Worth trying a different DNS like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, and test the same stream in the Twitch app or plain Chrome or Edge with no extensions to see if it's the browser. Also drop the player quality manually from Auto to 720p, since Auto sometimes keeps bouncing on a congested route. If it's only bad at certain hours, that points to your ISP and a restart or a wired connection can help. A VPN set to a nearby region sometimes improves routing too.

Vanced or whatever they call it now is the only thing that made twitch usable for me, the default player is just a bloated mess. if you're on pc try the alternate player extension, it cuts out half the crap that makes the site chug

Opera gx is lagy because of the browser. Every few days someone complains.
Usually chrome is your best bet, but if it's laggy with all browsers probably the issue is somewhere else.
