Opinions & Discussions Let me know honest reviews

And when you look, search for small

a heart inside me.

Big enough to make the dreams come true and as young as the sweat in the city.

I'm on my way of glory and defeat, with support of old leaves & their experience that I seek.

Well, I call that a family.

Let the war inside surprise me with paths to be cherished and moments to weep.

Little flowers as my weapons to take down this world with love, I believe.

I must not keep this life waiting to be lived,

Advice Needed 21F , should I take a gap year after my undergrad?

• Upvotes

I am in my final year of undergrad and want to do a 3 year LLB, but recently I have started therapy and I got to know that I have OCD and Separation Anxiety. I overthink a lot and I am always overstimulated , tbh all of this is very draining and it has started affecting my daily life.
I was studying regularly but now again I have started overthinking and couldn’t focus on my studies for the past week.
There is no family pressure so I can take a gap year easily but this will be my second degree and I am already 21 so I want to have a good career asap.
I think it will be better for my health if I stay at my home for a year and take a step back but also I don’t want it to negatively affect my career prospects.
I’m genuinely confused about what to do. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

  • The word "aurat" (meaning "woman" in Urdu, Hindi, and related South Asian languages) originates from the Arabic word ʿawrah (عَوْرَة), which entered South Asian languages via Persian.
  • Arabic Root (ʿ-w-r): In classical Arabic, the root ʿawrah literally means nakedness, genitalia, blemish, defectiveness, or vulnerability—referring to anything private, exposed, or needing protection. In Islamic terminology, awrah denotes the parts of the body that must be covered or kept private for both men and women.
  • Persian Transition: The term passed into Persian (as owrat or awrat), where it retained connotations of nakedness or private parts (often associated with sharmgah, or "place of shame"), while also occasionally used to mean a young woman.
  • South Asian Usage: Through Indo-Persian cultural and linguistic contact (entering Hindi-Urdu around the Mughal/Sultanate era), the word shifted to become the standard everyday term for woman or wife

Advice Needed Lasik and eye corrective surgery

Im preparing for capf ac. im over 24 and have been wearing specs for 10 years. my vision is -1.5 (L) and -0.5 (R). they allow surgery to the point of i think -4 dioptres. i think im safe for a surgery, and i have also heard that they would allow the vision i have currently.

i was wondering because the job is very physical and brutal, if there would be any complications while on the job. and also which type of surgery and how much would it cost. i have absolutely no idea. need insight in any of the said areas please. i can go over the budget and its a crucial operation, so money is not an issue.

Why are feminists so much bitter about this. The guy literally supported her through her journey.

It's not the first time, whenever there is a happy marriage or women giving credit to men for their success somehow turns into toxic comment section.

Just yesterday harry kane won Ballon d'or and he credited his wife but comment section was so positive about it but whenever a woman credits her husband somehow comment section is filled with toxicity and negativity.

Rant & Vent Knee and backpain problem in younger generation all thanks to chemical rich food 🤡 and milawati khan-paan

I’ve noticed that almost 75% of the people in my neighbourhood who are in their 40s and 50s are dealing with knee problems and weak bones.

I’m even seeing these knee problems in people in their 20s. I’m at the hospital right now with my cousin, who underwent surgery on his right knee yesterday.

My other cousin joked, “Saara calcium toh toilet mein bahar nikaal diya isne, tabhi yeh haal hai.” 😂

Jokes apart, I think the nutritional quality of the food we eat has become a serious concern. From chicken and eggs to milk and dals, everything seems to be contaminated with chemicals these days. I feel like we’re increasingly becoming patients instead of getting the nutrition our bodies need.

Ask Twenties My 21F elder sister has been crying over her breakup a lot, how to deal with her?

So my elder sis dated this guy from feb 2024 to around October 1st week 2026, they both were of the same age but he dumped her suddenly by giving that famous excuse “he wants to focus on his career”, he completed his UG wants to prepare for MBA and also stated that he might be moving out of our town and LDRs don’t work mostly.. he blocked her after all this and my sister has been crying almost since a month, she’s not having her meals properly and when i ask her she says that she just misses her ex bf a lot… how do I deal with this? And do you guys think he really wanted to focus on his career or was it just some excuse to ditch my sister?

Rant & Vent 20F Feeling suicidal due too much pressure

hey everyone I am 20F, I don't use reddit a lot but today I am just so sad and I felt like venting out to someone. My parents didn't support my education after 12th but I wanted to study, so I was all on my own.

I stopped asking for money at home after 12th grade ( even till 12th i studied in a govt school so they paid nothing to be honest). I did multiple part time jobs for survival after my 12th grade . I was good in studies so I used to teach kids chemistry n stuff.

And from teaching I make around 7k which is not enough for me to survive in a tier 1 city. I live in a pg so that's my pg rent. I fall sort of money at times. At this age where i should solely focus on my career, my attention is divided among earning money, handling all that pressure i shouldn't. India is not a place where you can find a decent part time job.

I do not have a vehicle to become a rider somewhere. At this point the constant pressure of earning something to be able to survive while focusing on career is killing me from inside and idk I can't tell in words what all are going on in my mind.
