if you've been to a marlies game, you've probably seen—or heard—will poulter. he was a hockey fanatic and a marlies superfan who barely missed a game. if you never met him, you definitely heard his chanting; the rowdy group of young people shouting spirited football chants at the opposing team was always led by him. he was a presence in the barn and out of it, a spitfire when it came to hockey and everything else, too. i am heartbroken to share that will passed in a car accident on october 25th at the age of 20. there are few words to describe the loss we’re feeling, the grief of how quickly he was taken from us. but i am writing this post as his friend, as a marlies fan, as somebody who was lucky enough to bask in his presence at many games, to ask for support. we’ve been discussing ways to honour will, and we wanted to look into holding a moment of silence for him at a marlies game. does anyone here have any contacts we can connect with to pursue this? will loved to call toronto and its barns "the centre of the universe," and we would love to make it possible for him to be honoured there.

additionally, will’s family has set up a gofundme; if you are able to donate, it would be deeply appreciated.

thank you so much. will poulter forever. from the centre of the universe and beyond.

Hi Marlies fan,

While we were visiting Toronto, we attended our first hockey game (Toronto Marlies vs Hamilton Hammers, 21 October 2026) and were broadcast onto the big screen.

It'd be a very nice souvenir for the family (our two boys, wife and I) to obtain the footage.

Would anyone be able to help us?

During the bit where they look for fans to upgrade seats in the first, my daughter and I made it on to the jumbotron dancing and having a blast. Did anyone happen to be recording the big screen? I'd love a copy of the video! Thanks!

She had a cute little pink maple leafs jersey on, she was in my arms

Surprised it's on a stick, might try to take it off when I get home.

so go transits a nightmare tomorrow so will probably have to drive. how likely is it I'll find a spot and how much do you guys think it'll cost?

I'm looking to buy a Marlies trucker hat and can't find much available. Just want something fairly straightforward with the logo and team name, not championship specific. Any suggestions for merch online? TIA!
