Hii!! I’m new to Reddit and to this community, and this is Cheetara! One thing I’m pretty sure about her being a Torbie, is that she has two definite traits from a tortoiseshell and a tabby. One, she has the tortitude, if I’m not giving her pets or attention long enough she’ll sit far and stare at me in judgment, and two if I smell a little off or hasn’t smelled me yet she’ll give this look and back away. Now for the Tabby part, she can be all purrs and loving towards me. However that’s for y’all to decide so here she is!

Got him at a shelter 2 years ago and always figured he was a regular tabby. (He’s lost weight some of these are old pictures)

From what I’ve seen, this community has always stayed away from "rest in peace" posts except for a few here and there. The majority of you voted to keep it that way.

We all know how incredibly tough it is to lose a pet, and we completely sympathize with anyone going through it.

At the same time, we want everyone to have control over whether or not they see that kind of heavy content on their feed. To compromise, we’re going to set up a dedicated megathread where you can share those memories and get support, so we can keep the main page focused on happy moments.

I got her in August! She is my first ever cat and my first pet that is just mine to take care of, she is an ESA too. She is very talkative and mischievous (she tore up a sponge earlier today and gave me a heart attack calling 3 different vet offices), she’s the best!

Found this sweet angel in my neighborhood cat colony, she was moving really slow and let me pick her up, which is when I saw her eye was really infected. After some antibiotics and LOTS of food it seems I have a very cuddly, non-stop purring, curious little addition to my household.

I believe she is about 6 weeks? I’ve never seen a coat like this! The rest of her litter includes a tuxedo and a ginger, and her mom may be a dilute tortoiseshell I’ve seen prowling around the feeder.

She was instantly affectionate and confident. I haven’t decided on a name yet, but I live in the Sierra Nevada so I was thinking Manzanita 🤎🧡

I managed to get her to wear her costume for almost a full hour (motivated by lots of pets/scratches/treats). Her brother, Goji, still refuses to wear his costume. Eh, perhaps next year...

Most of her red patches are covered by the costume, but she has a little orange dot on her forehead.

This girl rules our home (and our hearts). Also, is anyone else obsessed with highly committed to capturing their torbie’s unique coloring in photos? Or am I alone in having WAY too many photos on my phone?

I love her spotted belly. She used to be all grey and silver as a kitten but has gotten more and more tawny spots in her coat as she's grown

It’s been some time since I posted my lovely girl Posie she’s doing great. A lot has changed for her we moved into a new place and she got a puppy sister and another human to do her bidding lol. She’s rowdy as ever but she’s still papas girl. ❤️😻 what a cat! ❤️
