Johnny
Man I felt so bad for Johnny when Bodie, Poot, and Wallace jumped him. The stunt he tried to pull was definitely stupid but damn. Had that man in the hospital. What y’all think though?

The event was, is some sense, a blessing. In the hospital, he found out he had The Bug.

Yeah, that ass beating was way more than $10 worth. But even Johnny himself later said it was all in the game. Everybody knew it was messed up, but nobody acted surprised that it happened. That says a whole lot to me.

That wasn’t for him. It was for all the other feens in the neighborhood to think on.

Just watching this episode right now. Tonight starting my twice a year rewatch.
Poor Johnny wanted to brown so bad. His nerves got him, should've been cooler about the whole deal. As to the "but damn.", that's definitely the way it went down the way. You actually see a few people get their ass beat for even less than that.

All in the game yo
I feel worse for the random dude who caught a beat down after Bubbles went fishing for dope

They could have killed him. Like Stringer said it's all about sending a message. He basically tried to rob them. The amount is irrelevant.

That's what Telly the virgin surgeon gets for spreading aids everywhere.

A quote from Bunk, "Son, they gonna beat on your white ass like it's a rented mule."
