I’m a 27 year old queer raver located in nj. I love going to raves/shows (primarily techno but i love electro, jungle, ebm, dubstep too) but currently go solo to stuff most of the time. I’d love to find some fellow music nerds to go to events with! Happy to connect with people of all ages/genders. Feel free to comment or dm me :)

Would love to find a little group to go to/find raves with but also happy to find people to just meet up and nerd out over music.

I feel like I need to be an evangelical for this track.

Such an introspective experience. For me, it is almost like aural therapy; transportive in a way that is not rivaled by much else that I can think of. It always works. It never outstays its welcome. It just passes over and through. Leads a bit but doesn’t grasp. Supports but doesn’t dote. Like a ghostly hand beckoning forth. But an altruistic presence. I feel an overwhelming feeling of awe for the universe listening to this. It borders on dread but remains benevolent. Like a biological unfurling.

This is potentially my favorite track of all time.

As we're getting ready for a new Andy Stott release I've been listening to a lot of his albums. This track never fails to give me goosebumps the first time that distorted synth riff hits!

I think I'll have to use this in a skate video...

$100

I love their sound especially the most recent release!!

i don't really know if i'm any good at this or not. i just make little tunes in my corner all day. i like basic channel/chain reaction and shinichi atobe. i read once shinichi atobe also lives with family well into adulthood lol. performing anything resembling self promotion/the language common to press releases makes me feel like the most pretentious worm on earth but i'm trying to get better at sharing cause i'm kind of sick of feeling like i live on an uninhabited moon

Really groovy minimal track that stands apart from the productions he's known for, especially in recent times

this is my first time going to a event in italy and was wondering what everyone wears? will it be cold or warm inside the venue? if i wear a coat will i pass our from the heat or will i be fine? & hows the taxi situation on the way out?

Unfortunately, I got sick so I cannot attend anymore:(

This is the trippiest stuff I've heard since the 60s

Longtime appreciator of this sub. After the pandemic, it was one of the things that kept me connected to the weirder edges of dance music. It gave me the same feeling I had catching L.I.E.S. artists out for the first time, listening to Sandwell District (Falling the Same Way, OMG), or seeing Silent Servant play small parties in the early ’10s. So it feels right to finally share one of my own.

“Politics of Attention Deficit” is from my new EP, Grove Adjacent, which came out last week. I’m a DJ/producer in Brooklyn. The title comes from this flood-the-zone era of nonstop information overload, and the track is a dubbed-out rave tune built around a lot of sub-bass. The EP is named after the Grove, a stage at the Sustain Release festival upstate that started out as its ambient/deep-listening stage. I painted the cover myself with Krink markers.

This one’s for y’all keeping the weird music chugging. Happy to talk about how it was made.

Think the album cover was white or silver metallic with some orange writing that was pretty unreadable in metalhead style. Music very noisy with crazy sound design....some deconstructed club but was all over the place. Think it was a female producer from somewhere in asia who had only a release or two and this would have come out this year or 2025. Remember seeing a comment on redacted or bandcamp or somewhere saying "this is the craziest thing ive heard in years." Think i came across it from clicking through related albums on bandcamp from Abadir but could be mistaken. I've spent waaay too much time trying to find this any help would be appreciated!
