Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this! I ONLY smoke sativas and have had Blue Dream by 1964 & Broken Coast on rotation, more so the 1964 and also Fruit Loopz by Simply Bare! All absolutely incredible sativas but this one is by far up there!
$55 tax in at a local dispo in Missisauga which isn’t bad at all for 7G!

Initial aroma is heavy on the sour diesel which is what I loved most! The Sour Diesel in the best way possible was overpowering. I’ve yet to find a good Sour Diesel since MTL got bought out by tweed (😪🤮🙄) I’ve never smoked a Congolese strain so I can’t compare it to anything else sorry lol but they go so well together.

The high was PERFECT, I’m a heavy smoker so the effects lasted about an hour or a so. Heavy set behind the eyes and wasn’t overbearing in terms of feeling demotivated but def got me STONED.
Very smooth smoke, clean ash white at first and then a little salt and pepper but nothing to go booooo about lol. Also burns extremely well and grinds up perfectly. Very sticky

Overall I would rebuy @1964 PLEASE MAKE IT AVAILABLE IN AN OUNCE💔💔💔

Packaging

A small, opaque, navy-blue metal tin containing ten 0.5g pre-rolls, arranged on a cardboard insert that makes them easy to remove. It also includes a breakdown of the dominant terpenes and their individual percentages, the classification (indica), the rotating strain (Coffee Creamer #69), the lineage (Zkittlez x Kush Mints), and the packaging date (2026-08-27). A good presentation. The tin did not contain Boost.

Appearance

The pre-rolls are cone-shaped and made from unbleached paper; the tips are folded over, and they feature a paper/cardboard filter that accounts for about 40% of the joint’s length. The joints are not perfectly uniform or consistent in density, with a noticeable weak point near the filter. Combustion is imperfect, resulting in a "salt-and-pepper" ash.

Aromas/Terpenes

Caryophyllene, "alpha-thujone", humulene.

The aroma is barely perceptible. Dry hit reveals notes of herbs, sage, lemon, earth, and hops, with a subtle floral hint. On the palate, it tastes earthy, herbal, hoppy, and "gassy". A profile more commonly associated with "sativas" than "indicas". The smoke is heavy, acrid, and irritating.

Effects

From the very first puffs, I notice a slight increase in my heart rate. My body doesn't feel stimulated so much as jittery and on high alert. On the cerebral side, there’s a subtle euphoria; the mind feels sharp and abuzz. The high is mild and functional, accompanied by a "brain fog" akin to a slight headache, nothing more. In short, it’s a buzz that neither relaxes nor motivates.

I reached out to Broken Coast and Aphria/Tilray for clarification regarding the presence of alpha-thujone, a compound that can be neurotoxic at certain concentrations, and the risks associated with inhaling it. Their initial response, while intended to be reassuring, failed to address my technical questions. Following a more detailed follow-up inquiry, the company launched an investigation and acknowledged a laboratory identification error. An independent analysis confirmed that the substance was actually alpha-bisabolol, not alpha-thujone. Aphria/Tilray apologized and announced corrective measures to prevent such an error from recurring. While I appreciate their eventual transparency, this situation underscores the importance of scrutinizing analytical results by asking probing, technical questions. As for the product itself, it just doesn’t resonate with me. It’s quite different from the flower I reviewed a few months ago. The pre-rolls aren’t crafted optimally, and the combustion is poor. The profile is superficial, generic, and dull; the effects are entirely mundane. Ultimately, even setting aside any safety concerns, there is nothing here that makes the product stand out. I wouldn’t buy it again, nor would I recommend this rotation.

Upon opening the bag I’m met by 6 buds ranging in size totaling 7.8 grams. What a pleasant surprise, this is the first time I’ve had a bag be over by more than 10%! The flower is deep forest green in colour in purple marbling covered in trichomes. Great cure, good trim, quite sticky while having majority of trichomes heads intact.
Aroma is very unique and layered. Right off the bat I’m getting fresh rubber,

Been looking forward to trying some RosinStar so when I saw it was on sale I decided to grab some...let's just say I returned for 6 more units shortly after.

Packaging📦super nice packaging very informational. Grower info , recommended dab temps pretty cool. Pop vac container, no rosinstar sticker on the top but whatever lol. 9/10

Looks 👀 this stuff looks freakin amazing. Super fresh rosin despite being from April , I'd say it's some of the best consistency and freshest feeling rosin I've had in a while which is mind blowing for its age. Very very impressive. 10/10

Smell 👃 it's got a nice funky nose to it , I get hints of floral-sour fruits with creamy kush. Smell that tingles ur nose! Super unique smell. Definitely smell the grapefruit coming through. 9/10

Taste 👅 is great on this one. I get lots of citrus forward fruit filled flavours followed by a light creamy dank. Super easy to smoke. Great terps coming through on this one. Very nice definitely one of my top 10 for flavour. 9.5/10

The high 😵‍💫🤤 definitely not an extreme heavy hitter more on the balanced hybrid side for me. Something I can smoke throughout the day and still keep going. Still dose the job for nighttime tho , good for whatever you need it for , only complaint is the high;for me personally (with a quite high and f'd up tolerance) doesn't last as long as UP or 1A but that could also be a strain thing too.

Overall gonna give this 7.8/10 and I'd definitely repurchase( I already did lol)

Same thing different day, it’s review time. Today I’ll be reviewing 67Sins-Scented Marker, which is a cross between (Permanent Marker x Pineapple Fruz). I paid 86.99+tax and this bag was packaged August 28th.

I was originally hunting down “Kaylas Secret” but ended up grabbing this instead.
Upon opening the bag I’m met by 2 colas making up most of the bag and a few popcorns totaling 14.3 grams. It’s quite frosty, great trim, great cure, a lot of trichomes heads are intact but there’s some EXTREME yellowing/oxidization. Super disappointed and hard to believe that this was grown by 67Sins since most of everything I’ve had of theirs was usually clear trichomes/on the early side. While I was breaking up the flower I noticed there were signs of seed pods and micro seeds…… -_-

Overall aroma was still somewhat decent, mostly tropical sweetness, funky marker, with an added gassy sharpness. I believe the aroma took a huge hit due to the heavy oxidization.

I smoked this in a joint. In the joint it smoked, somewhat meh but it had a nice oil ring. Ash was also on the darker side. Very poor aroma to flavour translation and a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. Effects wise it started off very heavy on the eyes with euphoria while feeling uplifted. As time went on it turned into full sedation/couchlock. It was probably much heavier than normal due to the conversion of THC to CBN through oxidization.

NOTE - I’m finding micro seeds everywhere. Maybe 2 are viable the rest were immature/micro seeds. If it was just a few i wouldn’t care but the extreme yellowing itself was already unacceptable plus micro seeds? Hopefully this is just a one off…

Good morning! Today I’m reviewing Cannabis Cartel QUADS - Cap Junky which is a cross between (Alien Cookies x Kush Mintz #11) and is found in the Motorbreath rotating SKU??? Weird….. I thought maybe it was wrongly labeled because the Motorbreath is a (Chemdog x SFVOG) cross. Anyways, I paid 25$ after tax and my bag was packaged June 15th.

Upon opening the bag I’m met by 1 chonker and a few popcorns weighing 3.7g. Decent trichome coverage, great cure and great trim although it’s slightly over manicured/over handled as theres not that many trichome heads intact. A little dry for my liking as I prefer a bit more stick.
Aroma is pretty typical of Cap Junky, mostly earthy, tangy with this sour fermented fruit finish but not really getting any mint or citrus here. Upon grinding, the aroma became more loud and sharp while also smelling a bit more floral.

I smoked this in a joint. It smoked very smooth and had a near white ash with a bit of an oil ring. Pretty good aroma to flavour translation that’s very citrus forward with that typical earthy finish.
Effects wise I found it to be more balanced with good duration. Don’t expect a heavy hitter.. The effects began quickly, starting off cerebral with some euphoria. As time goes on it transitioned to be a bit heavier and relaxing with little to no couchlock.

Decided to try out a Divvy Black Widow cbd vape today because it's 75% cbd 25% thc which is the ratio that Orchid used to be until they changed it so its more thc dominant. Because Northbound is 97% cbd and the only ones left with that 3/4 1/4 ratio is Divvy and Blissed Rapberry lemonade. Cannara does a Jean Guy vape but it's only in Que right now, and it's pretty much 50/50. So the Black Widow isn't amazing but it's that ratio I'm after.

I wish there was a Cured Resin vape like 1964 or 67 Sins quality, that was cbd dominant. The market is really missing that option. The only choices right now are Winterized extract or distillate.

Smell 👃 is absolutely amazing a dank funk of fruit and oranges mixed with heavy gas 9/10

Taste 👅 is so dope. taste like tangerines with fermented fruit and really dank kush. Similar to terple but not quite the same a bit more funky. 9/10

The high😵‍💫 nice high feels pretty hybrid like to me, definitely not as heavy of a hitter as some of their other offerings(banana lychee and farmers daughter being better in my opinion) but still a nice heavy hitter. 8/10

Not sure if I'd grab it over some FCF, Lychee or farmers , but still a very solid offering. I've heard some people say it's teh best legal rosin they've had
So it not being my favourite could totally be personal preference.
