I absolute adore the low end in Audio Units - Planetary Metadata. Anyone know any other hypnotic techno tracks with a similar booming low end?

Will be in shanghai for work multiple times over the course of the few next months.

Are there any techno clubs worth visiting as a foreigner? How open are the Clubs to foreigners anyways? (I am not able to speak Mandarin). Are there mainly Chinese in these clubs or also some foreigners with whom you can connect?

Currently living in Berlin and obviously not expecting anything of similar quality, but maybe there is something worth visiting?

Also what is the stance on substance consumption in Shanghai? Better to stay away as a foreigner?

had 1 proper paid gig lol. hardcore fetish club in berlin. i have seen things.

let someone down for an entire "tour" (just didnt go).

fully fell out with the person who handled the track for a time.

played some big squat raves. complete waste of time. probably got asbestos poisoning.

complete disaster lol.

i have to laugh at the video tho. i had no idea at the time.

considered reissuing the track but cba dealing with the samples so i guess the piano solo i played is doomed to history.

all in all a 10/10 experience. my life in techno has been a smouldering post apocalyptic wasteland ever since. basically non existant.

i only did it because a distro was willing to pay to make 1000 copies (i suspect so they could basically kiss my mates arse) then everyone lost their shit over it for a summer.

i made a cut of it and uploaded it so im sharing. we cant all be pros or legends. some of us were just being silly and it still counts. did i lose or win? complete mystery. it didnt feel like the objective was to set up a home office and spend the rest of my days desktop publishing the noise of rebellion. idk.
