I am currently contemplating on pivoting a new career. Background: I make custom bridal wear and womenswear but the competition is really high ( Vietnam, people renting instead of custom order, etc). The pay is also absolutely low, and the labor is also high. I am feeling the crunch!

With the economy so sluggish I want to switch to Data Science or something in IT so I can work remote. I really dont have any idea how to start, what is the best advice you can give to someone who wants to pivot career?

With how quickly AI is evolving, how do you keep yourself updated, especially if you’re a non-tech professional looking to transition into a tech-related role?
What skills are you currently learning? Are you taking online courses, earning certifications, building personal projects, or learning how to use AI tools?
I’d love to hear from people who have successfully transitioned from non-tech to tech roles, as well as those who are currently making the shift. What would you recommend to someone who’s just starting out?

I'm planning to enroll in Tesda CSS NC2.. Does HR acknowledge this Cert??
