Thinking about buying a house that comes with this type of TV recess - images from show houses of different sizes, first comes closest size-wise probably. Won't have a fireplace. How can I at least improve it a bit?

Just got a new dresser. is my tv too high when laying down?

I told her it would be way to high but I was overruled lol. Previous perfectly fine console shown to the left...

Currently the center of my 77inch tv is at ~109cm (43inch). Apparently, theoretical ideal level.

Slightly below my eye level if i sit upright.

My couch is angled with regulated head rest. If am sitting naturally, fully supporting my head on the headrest, I am looking much higher. My neck is getting tired from this as I need to crack it down to see low mounted TV.

I will have to wall mount it higher anyway, as below it we will have a soundbar and turntable, which combined height wise, to work properly and according to spec (eg. Soundbar min. 2inch below tv), force me to mount the center of TV at 145cm (57 inches).

I think it might actually be perfect, given the angle on couch (naturally looking higher, never pararell to the ground).

Am I crazy?
