Thought I'd share my feedback from Nintendo when I reached on why my order shows shipped 10/21, but no status change since then. Rather frustrating. When I got the email on 10/21 I thought I'd have the console by tomorrow or Friday. Now it looks like next week. As long as it's by next Wed I'll be ok, but imagine getting it after the game arrives 🤣😭🤣😭

Wishful thinking…but not holding my breath

I’m sure there will be exceptions, but switches ordered from Nintendo’s drop a few days ago will be shipped after release. Hopefully it comes a bit earlier but either way I can wait

I wanted to have a serious discussion about whether you believe adding (A) "Jump" button to the original classic adds to the masterpiece, or makes us realize why, through limitations, the original was an untouched all-time classic?

I think what made the automatic jumping special, and the total game completely designed around it and its limitations, was it was this limitation of flow that made your sort of feeling like you were balancing on a "uni-cycle" flowing through the game, and it also added a sort of snake like linear element to the game with it's "Myst" like thread of design creating a sort of narrow puzzle in what seemed to be empty space.

(Hey, I don't know about you but I'm going to be having fun hopping around the open plains of hyrule field!!!)

So I am collecting video games, consoles etc since my childhood and I have a lot of stuff but the last years due to kids, spare time etc I’m not gaming or collecting so much but I want to play so much but tv is always occupied so here’s my question:

I have 2 switch oled models never opened and I want to open one to start paying when I have free time but I don’t know which.the one is the tears of the kingdom edition and the other one is the red one(Mario edition) with the Mario wonder game.

Which one I should open and which one is more of a collector’s edition?Till this day I can still find tons of breath of the wild editions but Mario editions not so many and most of them are like “one last remaining” on various shops.

Need recs for modern physical games that only came out in Japan

My Japan trip is ending in a few days and I’ll return to the US. So far I bought FFX/X-2 HD and One Piece Grand Gourmet for Switch 2 since they didn’t get released physically in the west. What are some other modern (not interested in anything retro) games that I should pick up while I’m here?

Mainly looking for:
-games that also released digitally in the US so that the Japanese versions will still play in English
-PS3/4/5 + Switch 1/2

Any recommendations are appreciated!

I guess keep an eye out if you order the console through walmart. They cancelled my order and refunded due to a "lack of stock."

Guess I'm back on the hunt after seeing all those restocks in the last 24 hours 😭

What BS, why not push the shipping date until it can be fulfilled. Just cancel it, why approve a preorder at all. If it’s Nintendo promising these retailers a number and then not producing then Walmart should say that. So I blame Walmart.

Just checked my tracking information, and saw thay my 40th Anniversary Zelda Switch 2 getting delivered today instead of tomorrow. 😌

Not sure if checking my tracking number is doing much good. Has anyone else seen this, or had their tracking information update at all?

I don’t really know why I am?

I’m awaiting like perhabs a soft mod or something to finally get use out of my limited edition switch.

I don’t know if collecters care about what version it’s on

Sadly the Zelda Edition is not with the new EU version with replaceable battery

So I been waiting for the new Oot For switch 2 and I don’t any extra money rn. But I wanna play it on release and all I can think about is selling my special edition Pokemon switch lite for some extra cash to preorder it. But I do use it to play Pokemon games and rpgs and monster hunter am very conflicted need advice I have a switch 2 so I would be fine but like it for the portable aspect and older games plz let me know your thoughts what would you do Thanks.

Is it not reserved so when the person picks it up they deliver? Is Walmart that stupid ? I hope that doesn’t happen to me if it does I’ll be livid

I pre-ordered the "Nintendo Switch 2 The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition" console on the Walmart app on 09/29 and wake up this morning (10/28) to find out it has been cancelled 1 day prior to arrival. I guess I learned my lesson to not pre-order from Walmart in the future. 😔 Any recommendations on how I can still get it? Thank you in advance!

This happened twice within the past three months. I usually put my Switch in rest mode and I restart the whole console every other day to keep it fresh. At least twice now, it just doesn't want to turn on. I've had to hard reset it. A 500.00 console that does this only a year and a half into its life. Has anyone experienced this?

So last night i wanted to check up on my switch after awhile and. I was logged out which i didn’t find odd but, i couldn’t load my games and it showed a switch 2. i Don’t own one so i checked and someone with they’re switch so called “the switch trap” has been synced and i cant unsync it. Due to it being to recently synced

I wanna ask if anyone knows how to deal with this or has a way around it?

I preordered early October so it’s not last minute. They had to cancel right before launch so I missed all restocks

It appears to have been super drained. put it in sleep mode and am letting it charge for 3.5-4 hours. Should it be okay? or should i worry? i can return it as it is an ebay sale
