Suggestion BF3 Roster Concept
With the news of BF3 (still not 100% convinced it will happen) I made a roster concept anyways consisting of 34 characters. Each hero having a counterpart villain for a “rival”. What other characters should be in BF3 if it ever happens?

Expect more like 12 characters. Bf3 is gonna be from the ground up. The online hate machine is gonna shit all over it even harder than bf2 because its gonna be 1/3 the size and have a ton of monetization in order to bankroll it. I like the rivals concept, though. Honestly using it you only need 6 characters at launch, two from each trilogy.

That one post that said y’all just want a hero shooter continues to be correct. It’s okay, hero shooters are fun, but this is Battlefront, it’s supposed to be a Battlefield clone but with space

No there have not! Back in my day the only heroes we had were npcs as a bonus you could activate if you held Tatooine during Galactic Conquest. Don’t bring this historical revisionism into here

In the original Battlefront yes there were heroes, granted not playable, but they were still there. Besides, playable heroes are incredibly fun both in large and hero focused modes if they remain balanced

Playable heroes is fun I agree but they shouldn’t be the focus of the game. Having too many heroes will pull away valuable resources from other aspects of the game. This is why I think we should have hero classes rather than a whole different kit for each individual hero
