Ride SplitPig - Sizing Q's
hoping to get some insight from anyone who owns a Ride SplitPig, I'm planning to pick one up but unsure on sizing. 10.5 vans boots, 180 lbs (no gear), 5'9. leaning towards the 154cm over the 148cm but was hoping to see if anyone else with similar specs owns one and in what size. TIA

The 54 for sure. And if you're not getting it at proform pricing, I'd look at something else. I'd look at something else regardless. I like short boards but 54 is gonna be tough going in deep stuff regardless of how much volume under foot.

154. It’s for backcountry. You’ll want the extra float. You’re not at a resort

I got mine for $200 with the skins and regret buying it. It’s the deadest, softest, most disappointing board I’ve ever ridden. If all you want to do is ride low angle powder it should be fine but it’s not a board I would choose to ride on anything over 30° or in anything but new snow. Unless you’re getting it super cheap I’d say don’t go for it.

Is there a particular reason you’re interested in the split pig? Ive ridden with a couple of people who got it super cheap and they all had pretty negative things to say about the board.
