It is a really welcome and positive step up from his previous versions with the visible texture, raised webbing, and a more handcrafted appearance. CGI will obviously still play a major role in Spider-Man’s action sequences, but seeing more of the actual costume captured on camera gives the new suit a more tangible quality which is truly a breath of fresh air given some of the recent overly designed and bland outfits in the superhero genre lately.

After almost 6 years of dating my partner, her and I are finally married as of yesterday! Proud to say that she has been the biggest support throughout the years, and has always stuck by my side and shared my interests. I’m a very happy webhead 🕸️🕷️

From Amazing Spider-Man (2025) #1002

Peter once again not telling May the truth, May being afraid of “that awful Spider-Man”, and if the next issue image is any indication, Jameson getting his Spidey hate boner back.

There really is no progress these days, is there?

A real power upgrade. Peter ragebaiting and trolling his enemy again. Cormac getting a good ass beating

Everything was great except that shitty Gwen and Norman scene

Latest Avengers drop

Would love to know the thoughts of y’all!

The fight in general was drawn so awesome in this issue! Especially that move when Spidey grabbed him and flung him from above onto the ground with his webs, 10/10. Also when he grabbed him by the neck with his legs while swinging.

Just imagine if a studio that animates anime were to work on Spider-Man vs. Ravage. I already thought the second round against Hellgate was really cool with the dimensional cuts, but this issue here is just an unbelievably cool fight. The way Peter teases and threatens Cormac is just the Peter we love!

I’ve always thought that Peter with the black suit should be massively superior to Venom since Peter is a superhuman with the amp of the suit while Eddie is just a guy. Sometimes a beefy guy, but a guy nonetheless.

But apparently not. Apparently a symbiote-amped Peter still struggles about as much against Venom as he usually would. Why does the black suit give Eddie a bigger boost than Peter?

And yes, I know this all heavily depends on continuity and which universe I’m looking at, but I’m just looking for some kind of answer in any of them.

by the way, I know the suit Peter is wearing in the image is a cloth suit only made to look like the black suit. Just pretend it’s the alien pls

The irony of peter being freed from the symbiote while Eddie is praying down in a church is so fucking cool, genuinely one of the best scenes in the trilogy.

Because if they were both bit by the same type of radioactive spider why can Miles turn invisible and why does he have Venom Blast powers but Peter doesn’t?

Did doom just undo one more day?

The open-matte means you see the whole square film frame. It can sometimes show things like boom mics, and CGI shots are still only wide-screen, but for many shots it looks genuinely so much better.

And in case you're like me: no, it did not show his whole mask in the theatrical version. I was also surprised when I watched it again to compare. The cropped version feels so wrong to me now.

I literally used a basic kitchen knife because we didn’t have normal carving tools. Not sure what inspired Venom but I’m pretty happy with it! The teeth were the worst part.

Fun facts: The lizard's design is based on the Thai Naga, combined with characteristics from different reptiles.

The goblin on the other hand, is inspired by the Tengu, a legendary creature from Japanese folklore.

(Shocker having purple in his color palette is something I never would've thought of but I absolutely love it ngl)
