first time having to buy tires so pretty clueless, where would you recommend I go to get some new tires? Had a flat on my front passenger tire and it seems I'll have to replace it. not sure if thats the case for the rest of my tires so would need a place that can diagnose that

Currently looking for an intermediate to moderate drummer for alternative rock band (singer/guitar, bassist, guitar) in Compton, CA.

We are interested in recording original music and performing in live shows. We usually practice weekly on the weekends at a local studio in long beach.

Drummer would need to have their own transportation and kit for live performances but can use the studio set for practice.

I'm 290 and most mattress advice is written for people who aren't. Two beds in a row have gone soft in the middle inside three years, both well reviewed, neither cheap, so I figure I'm buying the wrong category and not the wrong brand.

What I think I need is higher coil count or denser foam, maybe both and a straight answer on weight limits rather than a shrug. Sit'n Sleep was reasonable when I asked but I'd like to compare before i decide. Who in the South Bay is going to have that conversation?

Hello, fellow South Bay residents who live in the RB area apartments, what does your SCE monthly bill look like?

I've been paying ~100/month on average for a 1bd apt. 700sqft ish. I've always been under Tier 1 (DOMESTIC rate plan) except for last month since I was using a ton of portable window AC. I also have 100% Green Power for Generation. The total ~100/month bill includes the basic service charge of ~25/month that went into effect in Nov 2025.

Meanwhile, my friend who is also in RB pays 50/month, including the basic service charge. Similar 1bd apt. Same zip code.

I'm definitely overpaying but have no idea why. What are you paying, and what's your apt (i.e., # of bd, sqft) layout?

I am very sick with a few conditions and I was wondering if anyone else was currently on Medi-cal too and seeing doctors in the southbay?? I made the mistake of switching plans to an anthem plan and they are USELESS. I’m so sick. I just need to be able to see a doctor without having to wait 3 months for their first available😭 I need an allergist and a cardiologist…any help would be so deeply appreciated by a didable person (me) in the middle of a flare up
