Fan Creation Snyderverse Reading List!
2/14! I made a Snyderverse Reading List consisting of key comic runs and individual issues from throughout DC's 90-year history that have directly inspired or explored very similar themes and stories to the Snyderverse films themselves. This list also includes the first appearances for every established character featured or to-be-featured in the Snyderverse, along with Snyderverse-adjacent one-shots and collectible variant covers as well. I put all the issues and collections hyperlinked in a Google Doc with direct links to DC Universe Infinite when available, so hopefully they’re alot more accessible to you guys that way.

Discussion Why do people suggest batman taking down a crimminal infront of there child is character assassination in Suicide Squad?
People forget batman has done it in a comic with a whole family, which is canon, btw and has done it in the animated with Robin, but no one seems to discuss that

Humor If this was a DCEU movie or Snyder movie, Gunnergoons will keep complaining for next 10 years why Spiderman didn't save people in those 2 cars.

Appreciation Day of the Dead montage in BvS
The superman montage from BvS might just be my favorite movie scene of all time.
The music is just perfect man, which is really saying something because this film has a lot of bangers. And there are so many good shots in this sequence, from the day of the dead shot with the people reaching out at Superman and the GOAT shot of the lady reaching out to Superman in the flood, looks straight out of a renaissance painting or something.
I literally come back to watch this scene like every week and every time i do it literally gives me chills. A GOD AMONG US!

Discussion Ellison Is Bringing Back Michael Bay and Zack Snyder Is Making His Comeback Next Year! 🔥
David Ellison is bringing back Michael Bay because the current Transformers franchise hasn't been as successful as it was when Bay was directing. Bay's Transformers movies performed far better at the box office, and Ellison knows that.
Zack Snyder is next. The current DCU hasn't delivered the level of success Warner Bros. had hoped for, while Snyder's DCEU movies performed significantly better at the box office.

Appreciation Gravitas
“One of the ancient Roman virtues that denoted seriousness. It is also translated variously as weight, dignity, or importance, and connotes self-discipline and moral rigor. It also conveys a sense of responsibility and commitment to the task.”
MY Justice League.

Discussion In a year where Obsession, Backrooms and Residsnt Evil did huge numbers, Clayface is dried up playdoh.
Clayface fails, opening at $24M worldwide. International numbers being even worse. This is on account of nobody caring about the DCU and it being an online brigade group

Humor Final Nielsen Chart Performance: Lanterns Falls Off Nielsen’s Acquired Streaming Chart During the Week of Its Episode 8 Finale and remained absent the following week, with no post-finale binge-watching surge after the season ended. The Lanterns show failed to crack Nielsen’s Overall Streaming Chart.
The Lanterns show failed to crack Nielsen’s Overall Streaming Chart and saw no week over week viewership growth throughout its entire 8 episode run.
October. 05– Oct.11 was the week following the conclusion of Lanterns. No new episodes were released during that week.
Its last appearance on Nielsen’s Acquired Streaming Chart was during the week Episode 7 was released. Episode 7 Lanterns recorded 534 million minutes watched
This is what they call a major success for the DCU? Give me a break.
I'm pretty sure the DCEU Green Lantern series would do much better with the style of Snyder's Lanterns from ZSJL

Discussion James gunn doesn't understand Superman
He doesn't understand Superman at all in the movie. It implies Superman tortured someone, and then we see his parents are literally evil it clearly shows he doesn't care nor understand what the fundamental for superman truly is its even worse when you've got superman not giving two shits about his heritage.

Discussion Snyderverse Flash Point Paradox series?
Just rewatched animated FPP the other day. Such a great story. What would the reception be for a FPP Netflix 3 part movie? Perhaps photo realistic CGI. Cool new versions of the characters along with their other timeline versions. Perhaps bring back Cavil/Affleck as voice actors. Thoughts?

Question Mr. President And Court System? Spoiler
Just rewatched Man of Steel. I was wondering who runs the planet of Kypton. Did the planet had a some kind president or a person who is the planet leader. Did planet have some kind of presidential elections system people can vote. Since Zod mentioned debates in the beginning of movie. I was wondering who runs how the Krypton Court system works besides sending people in time out with a brain washing.

News ‘Clayface' Gets Mixed Reviews, 59 on Metacritic — Tracking at Soft $18M–$20M Opening
The review embargo for “Clayface” lifted this afternoon, one day before Thursday previews kick off, and critics aren't exactly high for DC Studios' latest. The film currently sits at a 59 on Metacritic and 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a big shrug of "mixed-to-positive."

Discussion Why do James gunn fan lie about snyder universe?
I'm specifically talking about when they say batman was going to have a child with lois once Superman was dead, even tho that was scrapped. Also, we've seen in the comics where bruce has literally taken lois in front of clark. we've seen this in the Superman animated show we've seen this in batman and Hush the animated movie.

News Clayface Review: Tom Rhys Harries Shines In DC's Uninspired Morbius Moment
Tom Rhys Harries shines in DC Studios' Clayface, but the R-rated horror movie is a disappointingly tame and forgettable affair. It should have been a game-changer; instead, it's DC's Morbius moment.
r/SnyderCut • u/VirtualSort1 • 8d ago
Humor Clayface is currently Rotten on Rotten Tomatoes, with its first critic giving it a Rotten rating and calling it “DC’s Morbius moment”

News Joe Manganiello reveals plot of Ben Affleck’s scrapped Batman film
The actor would have played the assassin Deathstroke as he attempted to "dismantle Batman's entire life", according to his new memoir "Bloodlines."
Joe Manganiello is sharing key details about Ben Affleck's Batman film that never saw the light of day.
The True Blood star, who briefly appeared as DC supervillain Deathstroke in Justice League, says that he was set to reprise the role as the main villain in an unmade Batman movie that Affleck planned to write, direct, produce, and star in.
Manganiello writes that Affleck planned to make the film “a superhero version of David Fincher’s The Game” that would see Deathstroke “dismantle Batman’s entire life” after being led to believe that the Caped Crusader murdered his son.
The Magic Mike actor says that Deathstroke’s revenge would include killing Commissioner Gordon (played by J.K. Simmons in prior DC movies), taking Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) hostage, and breaking into the Batcave. He also claims that the film would have featured a mid-movie fight in which “Deathstroke would nearly kill both Batman and Batgirl before they would both escape via an aboveground train.”
(Batgirl never appeared in this iteration of the screen DC universe, though Leslie Grace played her in a solo film that was ultimately shelved as part of a Warner Bros. tax write-off. Manganiello does not specify who might have played Batgirl in Affleck’s film.)
Manganiello says the film would have ended with a “climactic one-on-one showdown through the streets of Gotham” that Affleck said would be inspired by a CGI fight sequence from the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game helmed by Tim Miller. “It sounded good to me,” Manganiello writes. “I told Ben how great I thought his films were, especially The Town, and how I was really looking forward to seeing his Best Picture version of a Batman movie.”

Discussion Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
This movie probably went under the radar however it is appreciated, one of Zack Synders earlier movies he directed.
