We had a pretty cool religion teacher. He explained to us with the same logic that we could be believing in a spaghetti monster. He was fantastic. He told us quite a bit about psychology and the universe (if that makes sense?). Some kids told their parents. The school fired him within the first 6 months. I was 11 back then.

No one is born believing in a god. It's completely taught.  Just like Santa and the Easter bunny. 

Where you are born and who you are born to has the highest probability of deciding your religion. 

Long before children develop critical thinking skills,  they are being molded into the beliefs of those around them.  As they have no frame of reference for things themselves,  so they accept what their elders and leaders tell them.

There is equal evidence for every single god humans have worshipped. So what makes yours the correct one and some else wrong?
