Anyone carry the P320?

I bought one. Guy i know bought it around 5 years ago. Never fired it. The whole "the 320 goes off by itself" thing freaked him out big time. So he eventually decided to sell it. I got it for $100. I think I got a steal here.

I havent bern able to get to the range with it yet but I'm looking forward to it. I love the trigger.

I've manipulated the hell out of it though. And I cant get the striker to drop on it without pulling the trigger no matter what I've tried. So I think its good to go. Just wanted to hear from anyone who carry one. How do you like it?

The one I have is the X-Carry model I believe.

Question Prebuilt P365 Flux or Piece it together?

Looking to pickup a P365 Flux setup. Local gun shops have them with a red dot and light for $1749.99. From what I am seeing, it would be much cheaper to just buy a P365XL and the flux chassis. Even after adding a light and EPS (which I ld prefer over the Sig dot) Id be well under the cost of a prebuilt. I am assuming I am missing something like addition parts needed.

What am I missing? Or is there just a big markup on building it?

Who does Porting for 226 xcarry legion?

I have a 226 x carry legion and I love it. I want to get it ported with inline ports or something similar to that. Just for fun really. I love the way it shoots, I just want to see if I can get it closer to the new 226 x agency and my 211 in terms of shooting.

Do you know of anyone who does porting for that? Thanks in advance.

Anybody use a vortex defender ST on their 229 elite? Mine doesn’t have the front posts on the slide to lock the optic in tightly, am I supposed to just rely on the two screws? That seems kinda weird to me. Cannot find an adapter plate anywhere that is meant for this gun to fit a DPP footprint.

ECM Precision's brand new R11 X12's arrived and boy o boy do they feel nice! Quality and ergos are absolutely phenomenal! The X12's took the place of my SIG P365X AXGs. The X12 is heavier and "fatter", which for me fills the hand better. Here are the measurements made with calipers, I couldn't get a good picture so I had to jot down the measurements. Pics of weights after the third picture and the last two pictures are of the SIG P365X AXGs with aluminum and brass LOK Grips.

\Slide used is a SIG 3.1" with Radian AB/RJ and Vortex Defender CCW Enclosed\**
**Second and third picture are the actual builds only difference is one of the mags, Magpul AMAG 17rd while the other has a standard 12rd**

Reach out to u/ECMPrecision_ARK for any questions about the X12

Grip Measurements:

ECM R11 X12 (built in grip panels)
2.00" (frontstrap to backstrap measurement)
1.130" (side to side measurement)

SIG P365X AXG (standard G10 grip panels)
1.834" (frontstrap to backstrap measurement)
1.190" (side to side measurement)

Grip Weight (grip mod and fcu/full build no mag)

ECM R11 X12
9.0 oz (grip mod and fcu)
1lb 6.9oz (full build, no mag)

SIG P365X AXG
7.9oz (grip mod and fcu)
1lb 5.8oz (full build, no mag)

I also took the weight of the P365X AXGs with aluminum and brass LOKs cause someone is bound to ask! LOL

SIG P365X AXG

Aluminum LOK grips (grip mod and fcu, no slide)
8.3oz

Brass LOK grips (grip mod and fcu, no slide)
11.1oz

Taking this to a gunsmith to get the Ti mounted. This is my first suppressor. Honestly, it's underwhelming holding it in the hand given all the controversy around them. Can't wait to take this out to the range.

Keep on keepin' on. 🤘😝🤘

M17 vs P320-m17

I’m in the army and love getting to qualify on the M17, but usually it’s just “go run the course, your score is what it is” because it isn’t my assigned weapon. So I’d like to get an M17 to practice with in between qualifying days.

I’m not super familiar with the product line, but see that there is both a commercial M17 (which I believe is what I’ve used in the army) and a P320-M17, and they are virtually the same pistol, but the optic mounting system is different, and that’s about it. Would the P320-M17 (available near me used for around $400) be close enough to a commercial M17 to fit this purpose well? That is, do they take the same mags, shoot the same, etc.

I’m not at all worried about grip interchangeability which I’ve read is harder with the manual safety of the 320-M17 vs the regular 320. I also wouldn’t ever buy the Romeo M17 optic, as I already have a pistol with optic I shoot for competitions, and it seems the big draw of the commercial M17 is that it is cut for the Romeo m17 optic. This would literally just be to practice the M17 platform and improve my army qualification score (even though I already shoot expert haha).

P320 slide milling

I have a P320 in 45acp & want to get it milled for an RMR footprint. I'm guessing it would be the same companies that do optic cuts for 9mm but wasn't sure if it mattered or not for a 45. Does anyone have a P320 45 thst's been milled & if so what was your experience?

Thanks in advance
