Im a Gold V currently, and I've been struggling with sound cues, while the enemy hears me from across the mile away. Do you guys have any advice?

Question for anyone who climbed out of Gold or Plat.
Something I keep seeing when I watch ranked clips: a lot of deaths happen right after someone wins a fight. Get the kill, feel good, hold the same angle, and their teammate swings because now they know exactly where you are.
Things I've seen people suggest: step a couple of feet off the angle, swap to a totally different angle, reload behind cover before anything else, or fall back and make them come to you.
Which one actually stuck for you? And does it change between attack and defense?

Every single time I have gotten one game away from gold, I just can’t seem to come through and I lose the game, and it happens over and over. Any advice!

Greetings everyone. I currently have 500 hours of admittedly unga bunga gameplay logged in on R6 so far.
Here is my R6 tracker stat page: https://r6.tracker.network/r6siege/profile/ubi/2bb8a53e-c5c2-4d74-8e3c-ea9e1b0a9515
As you can see, I struggle to get a neutral KDA at almost all times. I loved the concept of playing shields but I usually throw by failing easy 1v1s on them. Standard gunfights make me freeze up and react just a bit slower than the opposing player, making me invariably lose out on duels. I can execute basic ideas like opening the breach on attack or putting down a setup on defense but I run around like a headless chicken after that. I usually play ranked with my friends and understand I'm being carried most games but I wish to be better and not just an anchor weighing them down.
I've watched Poxonlox's series where he visits copper to climb to champion but I found out that while I could apply certain basic principles (like playing aggro when a man down vs more conserved when up a player), I simply did not possess the reaction time or confidence in gunfights he possessed.
What I'm asking for is just guidance on what I can do to balance what I like (shield ops and traps) vs optimal gameplay (actual duels or gunfights or just gamesense I suppose).
Please let me know if a vod recording would help (also which application it would be most suitably shared on).

Its such an op gun. Its probably one of my most favorite guns ive used in any game. It just feels so nice and accurate. And giving it to Valk is just chefs kiss

I am an emerald on xbox who is actively getting better at the game, i dont play enough but i am going to start playing more so that i at least play 200-300 games this season. I had a 6 game losing streak yesterday and dropped from em4 to plat 1, but i genuinely cant pinpoint what im doing wrong. Im picking useful operators, bringing proper util, winning majority of gunfights, take gaps on attack and use preplaced drones, try winning the game even if im down 0-3, give proper comms, flip through cams at the start of the round on defense, etc.
But i still dont know what i am doing that is preventing me to make that jump from diamond. I am searching for more people to play with, and it’s hard to because it feels like no one in this elo has passion and just doesn’t care.
In the meantime until i find the people im looking for, what do i need to do to win more, im not perfect and do not believe i am, but i do feel that i should still be winning more
My stat tracker is Spy7396 on xbox for more insight

(My user is Kiro.vn on ubi for anyone to look into) I was playing ranked 3.0, and stopped at silver 2, I got back on 2 days later to find that I'm emerald 3 somehow. Now I'll admit that I didn't research ranked 3.0 or paid attention, but this seems so crazy to come back to. Can someone please explain?
Edit: I looked at the career page, and login history, but nothing seem out of the ordinary.

If you're starting out, Varsity is the prime example of strong fundamentals. How he plays is how you should play this game at its current state and skill level of players. At least until you get to plat or emerald. No glaze.
If you watch his gameplay closely, especially on attack, you'll have a step by step process on how to execute. It's methodical. He always checks common spawn peeks. He almost always drones first and does so efficiently. Makes good, patient, minimal risk decisions.
Even better is that he doesn't have flashy aim and mechanics that other players do. You'll find that what he does, you can do too. You won't get distracted by all the b.s. clip/aura farming of others if you just want to learn good siege.
My only gripe with his playstyle is he is sometimes too passive. That's why I think Poxonlonx is a very good resource when you get to higher ranks because he gets aggressive when needed. I do think he is a better model for when you hit higher ranks (with better mechanics) or have a weak mental in general. He gives really good tips on how to handle crucial situations. I.e not playing dumb when you're up one man or playing extra aggressive when you're down two.
What do y'all think?

I tried to play this game strategically and execute the site which i dont usually do i usually just lurk from downstairs or upstairs to the site or push with the team thru the breach and stuff and i reached plat 3 playing like that solo q. Im still solo q and tried to do some strats and executes which mostly didnt work even my aim was worse in some gunfights. How to just play better atp. Gold 3

I am Emerald on ps5 and I regularly have this issue where I max out my audio on siege but I struggle to hear my stack in ps5 party. I turn their mics up to the max and it still is a struggle to hear their comms.
How can I balance out siege and party audio so I can hear the game amazingly well while being able to hear clear comms from my team
Edit: to add to this in the ps5 party audio balancer I usually turn it all the way to game audio instead of party audio so could that be an issue?

I’m getting to the point where I feel like I need a coach or something. I’ve been playing off and on for a while, but I’m bad so I always float away. But I genuinely love the game. I feel like my game sense is trash, hearing is alright, aim is bronze and I’m inconsistent. YouTube academy isn’t sticking. Anything is helpful and I’m down for 1v1s to learn or just play in general. I play casually but I’m just tired of feeling like weighing I’m down the team.

Ultimately Dok died to my barbwire by dirt fighting Clash, but what I am confused about is how I canceled her call. I was gonna eat the call then heal, but decided not to. I didn’t watch the replay, but I am assuming she got downed as soon as I was about to cancel the call. Not sure though, never happened to me before.

Question for everybody, do you know of any good coach you would recommend that can help me tidy up my mechanics in game? please. I'm on ps5. Plat, somehow.
Perhaps because of cheeky plays, but if i was judged solely on mechanics (aim, crosshair, peeking) then i'd probably be lucky to get ranked at all. Really. Though
So, question for those who DO have decent mechanics, how did yall get there or how did ya'll learn or rather same question to yall
Because i'm looking at fiverr and other such places, but most, if not all, talk about or highlight game-sense.
Does that include, mechanics?
Or should i just stop yapping, and "bite" the bullet?
In other words, meet the coach/es and go from there?
