Peru Itinerary

Going to Peru this November. Here is my itinerary. My question is if it is too rushed?

D1 Lima

D2 Lima

D3 Lima- Ollantaytambo

D3 Ollantaytambo

D4 Ollantaytambo

D5 Ollantaytambo

D6 Ollantaytambo- Pisac

D7 Pisac- Agua Calientes

D8 Agua Calientes- Cusco

D9 Cusco

D10 Cusco

D11 Cusco- Lima

D12 Lima

Only doing the Pisac trip for the market, which is why we are doing some backtracking.

Doesn't look especially rushed to me. Plenty of time in Ollantaytambo and Cusco, plus the Pisac detour isn't unreasonable if the market is something you specifically want to see.

Just make sure you've accounted for the actual travel times between each place, rather than treating those as full days.

Pisac to Aguas Calientes could be a very long day. I saw where you are OK with backtracking but how are you traveling? My experience was that traveling any kind of road took a lot longer than I expected it to. From that perspective I think there’s a good argument to visit Pisac from Cusco. Or like someone else said, do it as a day trip
from Ollantaytambo.

We went two years ago and our order was: Lima -Cusco-Sacred Valley-Ollantaytambo-Aguas Calientes-Cusco-Lima.

In that schedule we visited Pisac by car on the way from Cusco to Ollantaytambo. We also stopped at Maras and Moray, both were inexpensive, uncrowded and jaw droppingly beautiful. That being said, this day was very long.

Having several days in Ollantaytambo is great. We only had a late afternoon and overnight and it deserves way more time.
