Found this attempt at a Ford/Lincoln version of an El Camino while car shopping this weekend.

Can't decide how I feel about it.

Took this photo years ago. The other Ute post helped me remember.

Wide Body Chevy Sonic Ute. Wish I got a better shot of the bed interior. 3rd brake light is a thing of beauty.

Also saw a nice blue diy shortbed Jeep JL/JK gladiator (AZ plates!) but it is not wise to take photos when traveling at speed on MD hwys.

Writing this as I enjoy some 70¢ boneless wings at some franchise cheesesteak place I've never heard of. I wanted old bay seasoning and it wasnt on the menu. Girl behind the counter said I got you fam and whipped up some custom old bay garlic butter.

I took the top off I’m dripping like hot sauce 🤣

This is youtuber Michael Pick, video-ID FYdyyEAe8UA if you want to check out the butchery on your own.

Whole thing is bodged together out of wood, 3D prints, plastic sheeting, tarp, wood screws and a ton of adhesives. Don't miss that flimsy-ass aluminium tubing reinforcement that looks like it'd skewer you in an upside-down event and is probably causing TUV technicians in Germany to cuddle up in tears with their safety blankets.

I'll admit that if you don't look close enough to notice how tacked-on all the plastic bits are it kinda does look like an interesting take over the ute concept.

But the true shittiness is that, as many commenters pointed out, the original i3 with folded-down seats actually has more storage space than this and would be able to carry the wood he bought without having to cut it beforehand. It could also be converted to a microvan setup by ditching the seats and plastics, increasing storage to quite a respectable degree without cutting half of it off (but probably resulting in a less profitable video).

Audi is life

Labeled 4x4 neon, i doubt its really 4wd, but maybe. The SRT wheels look cool on it tho.

This car is getting ready…for something.
