I just had HR call me because she said she "was on auto pilot and typed in the porn site she uses at home" into chrome instead of our company HR page. She said she doesn't know why her bain and fingers did it but she got the blocked page and realized what happened and is in a huge panic. She called me and asked if I could delete it for he before anyone sees. I had her say cuckin.com about 10 times and spell it out. This by far has been my favorite work day of my life.

I just wanted to make it known how much I love Atlassian. The only thing I would wish for are more features, and with that I mean more menus and dropdowns so it really feels like I am being productive you know.

Oh, and it was a fantastic change to just make the servicedesk portals URL return a 404 instead of setting up a simple redirect after force-changing the URL structure, that was really on my wishlist for changes this year, I don't mind another few seconds loading time just to display the assignee field, they can take all the time they want because Atlassian products are just so perfect and deserve the extra loading time.

God I love Atlassian, I assume you all do too!

1. Create root OU named "Enterprise Admins", do not delegate anything to it
   
2. Put everyone from IT department here, admins, devs, etc.
   
3. Wait for noobs to shit their pants and come to you asking "why everyone has Enterprise Admin perms???"

Went to update PHP on a webserver for an old wordpress site and discovered the server has been unresponsive for over a year... nice it's really secure if you can't use it...

My IT work feels completely, very appreciated. Thanks to 15+ years of office experience, I handle conversations and resolve end user complaints in minutes, and people assume I do everything. I juggle major keurig conversations, including legacy users, custom backend accountants, and non-IT tasks like proper hygiene, yet coworkers praise me to my boss when I set time aside for minor resolutions, like locking out a redundant HR crony or a minor top-up from my scotch supply. Most staff understand how much in-sight work goes into keeping everything appreciative. The constant nice remarks, vague issue teams pings, and volume of respect are driving me toward a very fulfilling career.

My coworker feels the opposite though and always complains about everything. Dunno why.

Just figured i’d start here cause I’m a shitty sys Admin. Anyway I run a 365 tenant and would really like to force or add all of the employee photos to their profile. All employees get a badge which requires a picture. Any issues with just throwing those pictures into 365 with their profile.

Last year, there were a lot of internet problems around October and November could this be another round of them? This time even the big brother google join the party 🤣
