TPMS Light On & Sensors
Aired all the tires. Light won't turn off. I plan to have the TPMS sensors checked. For anyone who has had this issue, how much did it cost & where did you get it done?

Hiii,
So my Check Engine Light came on recently on my 2006 Scion xB. I went ahead and changed out all four spark plugs and ignition coils. I didn't reset or clear the light using a scanner—I assumed driving it around for a bit would let the car's computer realize the fix was done and turn the light off on its own. However, I've been driving it for a while now and the light is still on. There are no diagnostic trouble codes or stored codes coming up to tell me what's wrong.
What are the most common causes for this on the xB, and what easy things should I check/clean myself before taking it to a mechanic?

I'm having an issue with my 2006 Scion xB with 195k miles (manual transmission) where I'm gradually losing clutch pedal pressure, especially when driving in first gear or in stop-and-go traffic, when I'm using the clutch more frequently.
Eventually, the clutch pedal loses pressure and starts sticking. What's concerning is that once this happens, I also begin to lose brake pedal pressure.
I'm suspecting the clutch master cylinder and/or slave cylinder may be failing, and I'm considering replacing both, seeing as this is fairly inexpensive vs a clutch replacement.
My questions are:
What brands would you recommend for replacement clutch master and slave cylinders?
Are there any aftermarket brands I should avoid due to reliability or quality issues?
Is OEM Toyota or AISIN worth the extra cost compared to other aftermarket options?
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms, particularly the loss of brake pressure along with clutch pressure? If so, what ended up being the problem?
I'd prefer to replace these parts with something reliable rather than having to do the job again.
Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you have more luck with a ported or sealed box in your Gen1? Currently I have a single 12 in a ported Skar box.I really like the way it sounds and it doesn't seem to rattle the the trunk TOO bad. I am just curious about different experiences.

Basically the title. I have a. 2008 Scion xB which I love but one complaint I have is that the 12v outlet turns off when I turn off the key. Is it possible to make it to where I can get it to always be on 24/7? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Is there any way to open it up and figure out what's going on with it? Any clue on how long of a project it is? The blend door is stuck blowing cold air and I'd love to have heat again

Recently installed new headlights on the toaster I was in between chrome or black housing and landed on black to match the rear but looking at it now I think i regret my decision.

Also why are taillights different? Special release series taillights?

I recently bought a second gen XB after my old (wonderful!) 4Runner gave up on me, unfortunately the speakers and bass aren’t up to my standards.
Mine came with the Alpine stereo upgrade so I’m not looking to change that but I was just wondering if anyone had any speaker/subwoofer recommendations for someone who enjoys bass heavy music :^)
Thank you!!

I'm currently running all-season Yokahama Avid Touring-S 185/65R15s on my '05. They've held up well even with some off pavement driving.
I'm curious what others have, especially if you do off pavement driving. I'm retired and rarely go over 7k miles a year. I'm not certain it makes sense to get a higher mile warrantied tire because the rubber will age before I get to 60-75k miles.
TIA for your input and recommendations!

Posted about them yesterday, but found the original photos from Pull-a-part for a better reference. It seems you cannot add or comment photos in this sub.

I lost my Scion years ago and I miss it. I was driving a sedan but they just don’t have the space like a Scion does.
I liked the small easy to park size, spacious inside that could load stuff in if I needed to.
Do yall have any recommendations on similar style cars? As the years go by, the current XBs are only going to get older, and I don’t have the expertise to fix cars on my own like that, so I’ve been wanting something more recent but still small and spacious.
Now if I were Bill gates rich I would easily buy a a Scion and ship of Theseus it 😂

Recently got a first Gen xB and it doesn't have fog lights. Is adding them worth it? Do they function as actual fog lights? They look like they wouldn't work very well. Can I wire in actual fog lights and use the factory wiring and switch? Can I use them as DRL/marker lights that come on when I turn on the lights?
Any help would be appreciated.

Was just notified that they received a 2013 xB release edition.
There were two other Release series xB’s there. Very sad.
What’s sadder is the fact that I went for the entire dash from the 2013 xB to get the carbon fiber accents and electronics, but upon arriving found that Pull-a-part themselves used a sawzall to cut out the passenger side airbag. Absolutely butchered the dash and some of the electronics underneath. Sorry only photos I took were the aftermath of the 2013 and some shots of the RS specific items.

Found at a junkyard in Austin TX. Thought there might be an interesting story behind this since the age of the graphics leads me to believe Supercuts was the original owner. Can’t find anything about these online so maybe it was just a one-off owned by a franchisee? Still pretty neat, if anyone else has seen another one please lmk!
(Side note it had the OE armrest! Couldn’t believe it was still there when I was finally able to go look at it so I grabbed it immediately)

someone scratched my car so bad the bone is showing 😭. any polish thats pretty close to Hypnotic Teal Mica to cover it until I get it repainted. i don't want the hood to rust.
a little rant bc im frustrated.
ever since it got the car people just feel the need to beat the shit out of it omg. within the 6 months ive had it people have keyed the car all around(i have vindictive ex-friends), people have rear ended me while i was parked leaving scratches and dents all over the rear bumper, and people are so careless with their cars I have like 5 door dings all over my car including the hood like how tf, and it always happens in a parking lot that doesn't have cameras 😭. is this a normal amount of damager to a car in 6 months or am I just super unlucky?

Please remove if not allowed. Since mine got totaled, I no longer need these parts. If you’re in Utah county, let me know. I’m letting go of all of it for $100. I can’t ship it, you’ll need to come pick it up. Please and thank you!

INTAKE IS SOLD
THANKS EVERYONE!
Hoping its cool to post this here.
Everything you need for a complete install. BRAND NEW FILTER included.
The outside definitely shows some wear, but still smooth as ever on the inside.
The emblem fell off the pipe as I was removing it from the car, but can easily be remounted with good emblem tape. Obviously WILL NOT AFFECT PERFORMANCE.
Was previously on my 06, never any problems or check engine lights.
Most noticeable difference for me after installing this, was actually a good boost in mpg! A slight power boost in the high RPM as well.
Any Qs, lmk!
