Every coffee shop I can think of in Santa Clarita is right next to a parking lot or a street. I'm looking for a place that is away from parked cars and traffic. A place that perhaps has a view of the hills or a park. A place where you can sit for an hour in peace and quiet. Does anything like that exist in Santa Clarita? If not, is there anything nearby?

Hi neighbors! Anyone know of a good place for alterations? I used to go to a place on Sierra Hwy in the Stater Bros parking lot but they are just too expensive to hem some pants.

Can someone explain to me why it’s OK that parents pick up their kids in clearly marked no parking and in a bike lane along Bouquet Canyon Road.

So what did everyone think of the Pioneer Chicken Pop Up Event at the Pumpkin Patch yesterday? We got there and in line around 3:30 and had about a 45 minute wait before placing our order. They actually opened up about 3:50, 10 minutes before the announced start time.

Ok so this is gonna sound insane, but I work in SCV in Newhall, and the building we rent had the copper piping stolen and the water turned off by the thieves so I guess, heads up y’all, put wire cages around exposed copper pipes or wires, because apparently there’s copper thieves in Santa Clarita.

Question for Hart District administrators or parents in the know: is there a requirement for adult staff to be present until all students leave after extracurricular activities? Specifically after evening rehearsals or practices I’ve picked up my kid (and have seen other kids) but the teacher in charge has already left. Primary concern is for their safety of course.
Seems like a colossal liability.

I did a search on this sub and it seems to have been a couple years since daycare/pre-school were brought up. We've got our first baby on the way, coming to an awesome-town near you early next year, so we're starting our research. Figured I'd bring the topic back up;

We're total noobs on this quest, but are basically wondering if there are any good places to start out a couple days a week and then expand to more if needed. We're prepared for the expense (that much we know) but would love thoughts on value of the local spots. We've heard good things about the Montessoris but we've also heard they are very pricey.

Anyone have great, mid, or bad experiences they want to share? Thanks in advance!
