A foreigners experience in San Marino
I came to San Marino from Scotland to watch the national team take on Albania and thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the country! San Marino played admirably and I wish them all the best in their remaining nations league games!

Tickets Tonight
Hello
I was hoping to go to the San Marino game tonight against Albania. I even booked a night in Serravalle especially. The ticket office have said they will only sell to citizens.
So here is my ambitious ask. Is anyone looking to sell their ticket? Or would a local citizen be willing to buy one at the stadium for me, and I will give you the money and a beer or two?
Grazie mille

License plate collector
Hi everyone!
I’m a license plate collector from Slovakia, and I’m currently trying to expand my collection with plates from all around the world. I would love to have a plate from San Marino!
I was just wondering, if there is anyone who has an unnecessary license plate lying around in a somewhere that they’d be willing to send me? Of course I can cover the shipping costs.
Thanks a lot :)

Cercare lavoro
Ciao a tutti,
Grazie in anticipo a tutti

San Marino vs. Finland tickets
Ciao! We are visiting San Marino in a couple of weeks, and I've just seen that San Marino will be playing Finland in the Nations League while we're there.
Does anyone know how easy it is to get tickets, and where we buy them from? All I can find is dodgy websites online.
EDIT - Just an update for anyone coming across this post and wondering the same question.
- Tickets - There were plenty of tickets available to buy on the day at the stadium, right up until kick-off. We bought our tickets in advance from the official San Marino football association website: https://www.fsgc.sm/en/news/ticket-office/40
- Football shirts - We bought an official football shirt from the Football Museum in the Old Town of San Marino (https://maps.app.goo.gl/iMTsWoaTBC2qSRrL7).
- You can also buy the official shirts at the stadium before the game. They were about £20 cheaper at the stadium! The stands outside accepted card and cash, but the stands inside the stadium only accepted cash.
- There were shops in the Old Town selling re-makes/fakes if you want something cheaper.

Happy Birthday to the World's Oldest Republic
The three feathers (piume d'struzzo) on San Marino's coat of arms sit directly atop its iconic towers. Codified into law on April 6, 1862, their origin combines practical history with clever wordplay.
Origins & Wordplay Metal weather vanes once sat atop the fortresses on Monte Titano to show wind direction. By the 1300s, scribes drew these as feather shapes on official seals. This created a visual pun: penna means feather in Italian, while the old Celtic word pen means summit, a term locals used for mountain peaks.
Meaning & Heraldry Historically, ostrich feathers were luxury imports from Africa that signaled status, distinction, and freedom. Their naturally symmetrical shape also made them an ancient symbol of truth and justice, linked to the Egyptian concept of Ma'at. Though San Marino has no official national bird, these feathers permanently represent its identity.
Stories Local origins trace back to Saint Marinus founding the country in 301 AD. Today, the feathers remain featured on the official coat of arms, framed by oak and laurel branches under a crown.
A special happy birthday San Marino, being the oldest surviving republic, this is only a sliver of how much history is intertwined with the land. I had a pleasure learning, what I've learnt creating this post.
Did you already know of this? Anything that you think I missed?

Quick questions about San Marino!
Hey! My name is Nathan from Australia and I’m hoping to cook a meal from every country in the world and soon up for me is San Marino ☺️ I wanted to ask what are a couple of the most iconic and beloved Sammarinese meals 🇸🇲
I was also wanting the video to include:
1 - something you love about your country; and then
2 - something you wish other people knew about San Marino! :)

This will be my last photo here.
First of all, I'm not a bot. I'm just someone who genuinely enjoys history, exploring archives, and discovering old photographs. What I enjoy most is searching for images from places, countries, and communities that aren't widely represented online. I love spending hours digging through archives, finding forgotten photographs, and sharing them with people who may never have seen them before.
I've decided it's time to move on to other communities and new topics. There are still so many places to explore and countless hidden photographs waiting to be discovered.
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the posts, left comments, or quietly followed along. I really appreciate it.

Moving to San Marino
Hi to all citizens of San Marino!
I have heard about San Marino long ago and always found it fascinating. Recently i have been wanting to move there to try to start a new life and assimilate. I will lay out my reasons here briefly.
- So firstly' since I was little I wanted to train football and never got the chance. Since i know the legue in San Marino is amateur i thought there would be a chance I could play there since its my dream to do so. So is there any chance a club there or a coach would gice me a chance to show what i know even tough i never trained football as a junior due to me having a glaucoma from birth' just to be in the reserve team and nothing else. I also want to add that I was twice time operated due to gastrointestinal issues and as a child due to eye cataracts which were congenital. So' when you add all this together would I legally be allowed to play' would I pass the medical exam and would they really give me a chance. Also if this is realistic I would need a place to stay. How can I find a place to stay and work so I can sustain myself'please let me know.
It would be great if someone would be willing to have me as a tenant/roommate until I find a place of my own'if so leave a comment or feel free to leave a private message.
- Secondly' if the football option doesn't work out' how can I find a job in san Marino or in nearby places if it is better to do so. Maybe Rimini? I want to clarify that I am an EU citizen'(croatian ID card'more specifically). I would like also to enroll in a college there if I can. In this case I would need a place to stay. So more info would be great.
Another reason for me wanting to move is that I personally dont have a desire to live in Bosnia and Herzegovina' more specifically Herzegovina. Things here are depressive'young people are leaving' there is no oppourtunity here. And I would prefer living in a state with a different mentality. Here the people are stuck up. To add onto that all' I have problems with my family' my father keeps hindrring my own progress and I personally can't tolerate that.
So because of all this' San Marino would be like a turning a new page'escaping from bad econony and other things. I forgot that politics here aren 't favorable.
This was a serious post so please treat it seriously. If you don't have any info for me it's better to not respond anything than to respond negatively. I would like this post to remain within this subreddit' so please don't repost for entertainment purposes.
To end my comment I would like to say that San Marino is looking like a dream home possibly'I k ow the citizenahip law is strict' but if it isn't realistic to move there then I guess I will need to find a new place to do so.
Greeting to all Sanmarinese and thanks in advance for any help I might receive.
Anthony.

Dove poter trovare erogamonete a San Marino?
Buon pomeriggio.
