SDFC needs to improve both on and off the field.

On the field, we obviously need better performances, smarter signings, less wasteful passing, and a stronger team mentality.

Off the field, the club needs to improve its marketing, merchandise, pricing, and social media presence, among other things.

SDFC needs to connect with San Diego and give fans more reasons to get invested. No half-assing it. The club needs to put in a real effort.

If attendance drops next season, will the club take accountability and make meaningful changes, or will it blame the fans?

San Diego fans aren’t bandwagoners just because they stop showing up to games. It’s a two-way street, and there are other ways to support a club beyond attending matches. SDFC needs to invest in the team, improve the fan experience, and give supporters genuine reasons to keep coming back.

What do you think SDFC would do if attendance dropped next season?

Get out there and support and represent our women tomorrow vs Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They deserve all the respect and support the men do! They can potentially take first place this or next week and win the shield AND they secured home playoff matches! Vámos Wave!!💙🩷

Wednesday night becomes Do or Die. (Again)

Please 🙏

Is anyone else noticing the pitch is not well from Aztecs playing? The Ball is bouncing on ground passes. Sdfc needs their own stadium.

Lots of seats available in the supporter section!!! All you people that want a cheap seat had your chance tonight!

Whoever is at the stadium has to start it. It's time.

So I received an email for tomorrow’s game being fan appreciation night and having discounts. Does anybody know how much the discounts would be?

Tom Penn said that an indicator for success is to see a trophy within 5 years. Now that St Louis has won one and with previous comparisons of SDFC to STL, do you see them replicating similar success within their 4th year or is there a different year indicator that the club needs to reach?

When will San Diego make up their own chants instead of copying other teams chants

San Diego FC defender Manu Duah lands at No. 9 in the 2026 MLS 22 Under 22 rankings after another strong season with SDFC.

It’s only been a little but we have seen him in a few games, what are our first impressions?

Having to play in their current possession based just isnt working. Thier midfield and defense dont have the ability to do so. Far too many turnovers from a midfield that cant recover the ball which leads to goals against a defense on the back foot.

This group of players seems like they should play from a mid-block and attack on the counter. They defend well enough when the play is in front of them and they are really quite good when they are able to run at teams in space.

While watching the last few weeks of bad games, would love to see something like below instead.

Murphy tverskov mcvey

Pirani alvarado duah soma achouri

Dreyer bakambu

Back 3 and we saw tverskov play center back the other night pretty effectively. Covered by the bigger murphy and mcvey. (Willing to see soe and pilcher too)

Pirani moves to the right as a right footer to provide width in attack and will have to drop back and play some d. Duah sits deep and allows alcarado and soma to create going forward. Achouri provides width on the left and allows him to use his speed to run into space.

Frees up Dreyer to do whatever he wants rather than technically on the right as he is now. Bakambu up top to receive balls.

Feel like this is a good enough collection of players to be a good team in the MLS. Unfortunately, Heaps and Varas are powerless i guess to make any changes so we all get to watch this sinking ship.

With SDFC sitting outside the playoff line and running out of games, I’m curious what everyone’s most unconventional starting XI would look like to close out the season.

Forget the safe picks. Forget the usual lineup. If you could experiment with absolutely anything, what would you try?

Move players into unfamiliar positions? Roll out a completely different formation? Give someone who’s barely seen the pitch a chance to prove themselves? Now’s the time to get creative.

At this point, what do we really have to lose?

Drop your “screw it, this might low-key actually work” starting XI and let us know what formation you’d run. I wanna see some truly creative lineups! 👀

So, here at Dignity Health Sports Park and seeing the passion of the fans. It's like everything is better here than at SnapDragon. Not sure why that is, but happy to see it!
