Trip Report / Experience Salvia Trip Report: The Loop, the Word, and the Dissolution of Language

Salvia Trip Report: The Loop, the Word, and the Dissolution of Language

Trip Overview

(I used ai to rewrite the experience but ill be adding the original prompt below)

  • Substance: Salvia divinorum 7x extract
  • Method: Smoked, held breath, laid down with eyes closed
  • Setting: Indoors, with friends talking in another room
  • Vibe/Result: One of the best trips experienced; profound synesthesia, looping geometry ("boomerang effect"), and total linguistic dissolution.

1. The Onset and the Classic "Boomerang" Loop

The session began as usual: after smoking and holding the breath, lying down and closing the eyes triggered the familiar kinetic sensation. This recurring rhythm—often described as a pulling, oscillating, or "boomerang" effect where perception swings outward and snaps back—immediately took hold.

As is common with Salvia, an attempt was made to anchor the feeling to a "real-world" concept in order to explain it later. However, much like a dream where a surreal location feels completely logical and familiar while inside it, the concept or object discovered during the trip ceases to exist outside of the Salvia headspace, making post-trip translation nearly impossible.

2. External Stimuli and the Physical Manifestation of a Word

As the boomerang effect progressed and was being enjoyed, ambient sounds from the environment intersected with the trip:

  • Audio-Visual Synesthesia: Two friends were talking in another room, and a specific word they uttered crossed over into the trip.
  • Physical Form: The word materialized into a physical, visible object that approached frame-by-frame in sync with the ongoing boomerang rhythm.
  • The Sound Loop: The audio of the word looped identically alongside its visual movement, sounding as though the two friends were speaking it together in unison.

3. Escalation and the Loss of Meaning

  • Perspective Shift: The physicalized word appeared massive, standing right next to the user. An attempt was made to look up at the top of it from a low angle while the boomerang motion intensified.
  • Semantic Saturation: After a short time, the word completely lost its semantic meaning. The sound became unintelligible noise, even though the phonetic structure remained identical.
  • The Third Voice: Suddenly, an unfamiliar female voice joined in, bringing the perceived number of speakers to three. They appeared to surround the user, who was positioned in the middle alongside the giant physical word.

4. The Dissolution of Inner Monologue

Throughout the experience, an inner monologue persisted ("what is this feeling?"), but as the trip deepened:

  • Language Breakdown: Traditional language completely lost its meaning. Thoughts transformed from words into pure, unarticulated emotion.
  • Alienation: Even though the sounds were familiar enough to recognize, the words felt entirely alien and meaningless

5. Return to Baseline

As the short-acting intensity of the Salvia began to fade, reality reasserted itself. Language slowly regained its structure and meaning, leaving behind a fascinating, deeply immersive experience regarded as one of the best trips yet.

Note on the "Boomerang Effect": In psychonaut and Salvia-using communities, this kinetic, looping, folding sensation is frequently described using mechanical or spatial metaphors—such as "the conveyor belt," "the zipper," "the revolving door," or "geometric folding." It stems from Salvinorin A's unique action on kappa-opioid receptors, which disrupts spatial orientation and the brain's ability to maintain a continuous, linear stream of consciousness.

The OG prompt/ experience written by me

"I usually smoke salvia for the boomerang efffect. So today i smoked, held the breath for as long as i could and i lied down and closed my eyes. I always think of trying to relate the feeling to a real world thing while im tripping so that it will be easier to explain, but the thing is the moment i see that boomerang kinda effect where IDK the stimuli changes into something else and falls onto me in a loop. and at that moment i will be like yeah thats it this is the real thing i am gonna relate to and explain and the "said thing" does not exist out of the salvia headspace. Its like seeing a dream where u know that place is not real but in the dream you know every detail about it. so when the trip gets over i cant say what i felt cuz what i related to in the trip is not real. This time it got really interesting. Im just back to reality lmao so pardon my english (very imp for later) also its not my first language so

This time the boomerang effect started normally. actually is it even called the boomerang effect? i will be googling it in the end and adding it so that yall can understand it better.

ok so the boomerang effect started normally and i was enjoying it like usual. But then, two of my friends were having a convo in a different room and they said something. I dont know what they said but it was a word. The word took on a physical form like i could see the word. It came to me. The word started to move in the boomerang manner. uh idk how to explain. The overall boomerang effect was already going and the word just appeared to come closer to me with upon each frame. The physical word also made a sound, which in the beginning was just the word itself and it sounded like the two of my friends were saying it together like in unison. For example if the word was "what?" the what sound looped along with the physical "what" visual (it was something else in my own language)

Then the word was standing next to me and i tried to look at the top of the word from a low angle. The boomerang effect was so intense by that point and after some time the word stopped having a meaning. The sound made no sense even though it sounded the same. Then suddenly a female voice also joined in??? So now it sounded like 3 ppl in total, they were surrounding me and in the middle it was me and the giant ass word. All that time i was thinking to my self what the hell is this like in my original language. I was inner monologuing but at that point language lost meaning. It was just sounds. Im familiar with them enough to say the words but the words felt totally alien to me. But i was still thinking "what is this feeling" but it wasnt words it was pure emotion. Then slowly i sobered up and language started to have meaning again

I dont know how this sounds to you guys but this was one of the best trips ever"

Theory Salvia And Kenneth Grants Work

• Upvotes

Kenneth Grant (1924–2011) was a prominent English occultist, ceremonial magician, and author.

In his work he mentions things that are strikingly similar to what some people encounter under Salvia, check this out.

I feel this stuff is far more spiritually dangerous then people realize:

- Changed into Inanimate Objects -

In Grant's universe, the "Dark Goddess" (variously manifested as Lilith, Babalon or the primeval chaos monster Tiamat) is the supreme ruler of the Nightside. She is not a benevolent deity; she represents the primordial abyss, the universal womb, and the cosmic grave.

Grant repeatedly warns that entering the Nightside without the proper psychological and spiritual preparation is catastrophic.

When a magician invokes her or descends into her tunnels, she strips away the linear, rational ego.

In Nightside of Eden, Grant warns that the entities inhabiting the Tunnels of Set do not respect human anatomy. When your consciousness enters their dimensions, they will violently "stretch, distort, and pour"your psychic energy into whatever geometric mold or lower container they choose.

Grant explains that the dark goddess will intentionally force a magician's mind into the "shells" (Qliphoth) of inanimate matter (like stone or wood) or atavistic animal forms to completely shatter their linear, human perception of space and physical autonomy.

She treats human identity as a fragile, artificial construct. To shatter this construct, she takes the magician’s "psychic juice" (their conscious awareness and life force) and forcefully liquefies it, rendering it ready to be recast into completely non-human forms.

Grant warns that if a magician lacks the spiritual fortitude to maintain awareness during the descent, their consciousness will collapse and get ensnared within the dense, static shells of baseline physical reality—like stone, wood, or metal.

This is described as a terrifying metaphysical claustrophobia. The mind becomes acutely aware but entirely frozen, locked inside a heavy, unyielding material prison. It completely strips away the human illusion of physical autonomy and movement, forcing the consciousness to experience existence from the perspective of an inanimate object.

- The Salvia Wheel -

In Hecate's Fountain, Grant discusses the strophalos (Hecate's spinning top or wheel) as a cosmic sorting machine. Consciousness that enters this space without being fully prepared is caught in the rotating mechanical "rungs" of the grid. Grant uses the metaphor of a cosmic loom or meat-grinder: if you have not fully dissolved your ego, the gears of the wheel will violently squeeze, filter, and process your identity, reshaping it by force.

- Salvia Loss Of Volition -

Grant explicitly warns that the Left-Hand Path is a gamble of total victory or total slavery. He notes that entities like Babalon or Lilith demand absolute surrender. If a magician tries to keep a small piece of their human ego active during the breakthrough, the Goddess will not grant them liberation; instead, she will subjugate them entirely.

Grant literally uses the imagery of the goddess riding or driving the magician like a beast of burden (a concept he pulled from Haitian Voodoo and Left-Hand Path Tantra). The magician is stripped of all free will, bound by her energetic "leash," and reduced to a spiritual pet within her domain.

- The Salvia Peeling Effect -

In Nightside of Eden, Grant discusses the entry into the lower Qliphothic realms as a literal flaying or skinning of the ego. Grant uses the traditional Kabbalistic framework where the outer layers of a human being are called Husks or Peels. He warns that when a magician is pulled into the deeper Tunnels of Set (specifically those guarded by entities like Amprodias or Gargophias), the forces do not gently dissolve your ego—they aggressively "peel" it off you like bark from a tree or skin from a carcass. This agonizing psychic flaying leaves the magician’s "Self-Core" entirely naked and defenseless in the void.

- The Salvia Feminine Entity -

-------------------------The Salvia Maiden Archetype: ------------------------------------------

For Grant, the supreme feminine deity is Babalon (inherited from Aleister Crowley), whom he also maps as Nu-Isis, a trans-plutonic cosmic gateway.

  • The Shapeshifter: Grant explicitly describes this current as having multiple, fluid "masks" to interface with the human mind. She manifests as a beautiful young woman or a seductress to entice the magician into the Abyss.
  • The Ruthless Dominatrix: Once the magician enters her domain, her veil drops and she becomes completely ruthless, riding the magician's consciousness like a beast of burden to destroy their human ego.

--------------------The Salvia Witch/Old Hag Archetype:---------------------------------------

Grant calls the Hecate Aspect of the Typhonian tradition:

  • The Oldest Symbol: Grant writes in Beyond the Mauve Zone that Hecate is "the hag, the crone, the ancient woman... not in terms of terrestrial age but of the primal image of Woman as the first and therefore the oldest symbol of manifestation".
  • The Automated Spinner: As the ultimate witch-mother, she sits at the crossroads of Da'ath (the gateway to the Tunnels of Set) managing the cosmic machinery of reincarnation.

--------------The Salvia Wheel Spinner, Reality Peeler Archetype:----------------------------

Grant would identify her as Okkbish, the Qliphothic Spider-Goddess.

Grant explicitly maps Okkbish/Arachne as a primal Qliphothic entity who spins a massive, multi-dimensional web across the cosmic Void. This web bridges the dayside (our physical reality) and the nightside (the unconscious, chaotic Abyss)

In Grant's mapping, this aspect of the Goddess uses human souls as the raw thread for her cosmic loom. If the user retains any human identity, she catches them in her web, leashes them, and violently drags them through the gears of her reality-spinning engine.

The Typhonian tradition frames her web not as a flat surface, but as a dynamic grid of "tunnels and vortices" that generate the illusions of space and time. If a practitioner enters her domain while trying to cling to their human personality, name, or ego, they become "food" or "fuel". They are ensnared in the web, torn apart by the velocity of non-dual consciousness, and violently integrated into her ongoing creation of cosmic illusion

Trip Report / Experience 300mg salvia report

Smoked it last night.

I know people hardly smoke mg with salvia but I’ve been researching an insane amount of this stuff, even finding a whole community dedicated to studying and researching salvia.

Found a chart on mg usage for dry leaf.

Smoked it. Had my gf by me.

And for most of what I felt was as follows:

I didn’t know I was high, I felt pretty sober and then that “the spins” effect when you smoke a lot of weed was hitting me. (No weed in this btw). But it was just in motion. Stationary.

Then I felt everything twisting / rotating. It was so cool and so uncomfortable at the same time. I really wish there was something that got rid of that uncomfortable feeling. It’s very similar to the uncomfortable feeling you get when claustrophobic.

This is like an introductory trip report to understand what low dose salvia feels like. I’m p sure what I had is equal to 3x extract correct?

Well I started getting a bit worried but I was more excited than anything. I went to my girlfriend to feel safer, she put her hand on my neck. In one place in the front / side of my neck and it felt like it went all the way around but that’s not possible because I could also feel the back of my neck untouched as well.

Haha. Such a weird feeling. I was describing it to her as it was happening.

I could feel my own face morph and deform as I was smiling. Idk maybe I can draw it, I’m an awful artist so I might just draw some lines and show you guys what my face felt like.

After a few minutes it subsided.

The afterglow felt amazing btw. Not euphoric or anything but. You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning and there’s sunlight shining through your window? It was kinda like that feeling/emotion.

Then I felt happy and content for a few hours.

Safe to mention; in the past I quiddded salvia. Idk how much exactly but the effects felt pretty different to this.

Trip Report / Experience Salvia completely got rid of my death anxiety

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve had an intense fear of death. I was raised Christian but around the age of 19 I stopped listening to what people told me to believe in and pondered on spirituality on my own. I ended up leaving that religion just because so many things didn’t seem to add up correctly for me. This changed a lot for me because I had grown up believing in heaven and hell and now I was in a position where I was completely uncertain of what could happen after death. This is where Phychedelics come in play, I had discovered mushrooms and tried them for the first time and became instantly obsessed with the introspective thoughts and beautiful experience it gave me. I’d go on to try lsd and many more mushroom trips in following years and although I had many amazing and beneficial trips I really felt like I had more to see and learn from these types of substances. Then I found salvia and at the time never having experienced an ego death I decided I’d give it a shot despite being scared shitless after reading up on some stories. My package arrived and without dosing like an idiot I packed my bowl and went for it. The experience was pretty frightening nonetheless, from what I can recall I appeared in some sort of wired geometric space with a line divided down the middle of what I saw, and everything outside of that line was a void. I believed that outside of what I experienced there was nothing else making up reality itself, no other consciousness, nowhere I could escape from this space that I was stuck in. Of course I had forgotten everything about ever existing and felt like I had always been there, and yes it felt like I was there for so so long. After I got shot back into real life I was freaking out I even threw my bong in the trash (I got it back out after a couple minutes lol) and after recollecting my thoughts this left me with so much to reflect on about everything I ever knew. Just the idea of being born into something new that felt so real without remembering my past life really opened me up to possibilities of reincarnation. I’m not throwing any shade on any religions making this and I still know there are uncertainties to life but I feel like this experience has made me so much more comfortable with this problem I’ve been going through and even just day to day life seems way less stressful despite my experience being terrifying. Figured I’d share my experience to share how phychedelics can provide healing that things like therapy and other medications can’t seem to knock. I’ve been looking into dmt and plan on experiencing that one as well and I’m just super glad I came out of this so much better.

Trip Report / Experience Update: Tired Salvia for first time, AMAZING, am I very insensitive?

I had previously asked a few questions in regards to my first trip a few days back and finally had the opportunity to try it and had a fantastic time.

First thing to hit was hearing repetitive single sounds being said by a person (think the echoing voices from the alone scene in that SpongeBob episode but sounds like “ahh, guh, eee, etc”) then it felt like reality was a loaf of bread that you sliced but not all the way through, then split apart to show every individual slice, with me being split, pushed, and pulled along with it. My sitter (my girlfriend) told me I was insisting we were in an empty mall with sky lights and palm trees relaxing on a bench. About an hour in after my 3rd 50 mg hit I became very in the mood and had some of the best sex of my life too.

I do wonder though, did I get a weak batch or am I super insensitive? I kept progressively pushing up my dosage till each hit of Salvia Palace 20x was 50+ mg about 4 times total and I was still having a fantastic and not at all uncomfortable time. I’m not sure how but I ended up going through about 400mg throughout the night and am so glad I finally

I feel like 4 50mg hits is insane for a 1st time, but I had a blast with zero fear or discomfort, could anyone tell me why?

Discussion The Anti Drug

Hey all,

I'm Posting this here because the idea of salvia reverse tolerance gave me this idea. The idea of the ultimate anti drug.

So you have opioids right. They hit your opioid receptors and you get high and your body works to bring you back to homeostasis and you are baseline again. If you continue to get high regularly your body starts fighting harder and harder to get back to baseline. This is why tolerance builds up and ultimately if you stop your body continues the huge fight to bring you back to normal without the drugs there to counterbalance and that is the hell we know as withdrawal.

Well an anti drug would basically work in reverse. It would make you sober if you were high. It would make you feel withdrawal if you took it sober (not like an opioid antagonist this would make someone who had never used drugs go into full withdrawal if taken). However if you managed to use this substance that initiates this awful state regularly for long enough you would achieve a reverse withdrawal where your body makes you high with no drug. You use this substance to sober you up at this point and your withdrawal from it is your high 😅.

This fun concept / idea is silly but I think about it often and the idea came from salvia so I thought I would post here. I'm fairly certain a substance like this could not exist just a fun idea.

Trip Report / Experience My friend smoked salvia and genuinely experienced years of living as a snake in an advanced civilization

Yesterday my friend came over to my place because we were planning to try 4-aco-met together (I’ve done it before, it was supposed to be first time for him). however he showed up with salvia instead. I refused to try it myself, so he decided to smoke it alone (he really wanted to try it and was tempted, because he already tried it once, but it probably wasn’t an actual salvia divinorum because it didn’t do anything). We ended up doing 4-aco-met the following day. what happened to him was honestly one of the most insane things Ibe ever witnessed. During the trip, he apparently experienced what felt like years of living as a snake in entirely different world. He had a snake family, a job and lived in a civilization that was supposedly hundreds of years more technologically advanced than humanity. he described advanced hospitals, doctors, technology, and an entire society with its own culture. The technology was so advanced theu had open AI (yes, open AI was really in his trip) flats and houses, full on homes operated by AI, smart homes that could read their minds and do stuff according to the needs of the snake living there. He even described the capital city which he called “Haasmasha” in a country he called “Sasimofa.” He talked about the main square and various buildings, including the place where he worked and a hospital. He later drew incredibly detailed pictures of these places, despite having very limited drawing skills before this experience. He had never been interested in drawing, but during his trip apparently it had become one of his hobbies. He also claimed to understand their language which consisted of hissing sounds. He showed me what he described as their alphabet and explained various details about their society. The strangest part was the anatomy. He described detailed facts about snakes that I later verified to be correct. These were not just basic facts you might casually learn in school. He had never shown any interest in snakea before and had no known background knowledge about their anatomy, at least thats what he has told me lol. I’m interested in the experience itself and how the brain could generate something so elaborate. I always knew that people live whole different lives on salvia, but never thought it could be something this complicated and detailed. He genuinely seemed to remember this alternate life as though he had actually lived it for years, its so fucking obscure.
Has anyone experienced something remotely similar on salvia? I mean something this detailed and elaborate. Honestly, I was never even considering doing salvia EVER, but now I am really tempted to do so.

Discussion Indians and Salvia

The reason 7x is so visible here is that 100%pb recently restocked and a lot of us Indians bought it. It's also interesting how over-represented India is in this sub compared to the DMT, mescaline and peyote subs, and that's down to one Indian website. Something as mundane as economics has given many Indians intense psychedelic experiences, even though awareness is low and the substances are banned.

I don't know if this makes sense, but I've been reading a lot of anthropology lately, especially on the early out-of-Africa migrations (the ancestors of Aboriginal Australians, for example). I see a parallel with entropy. To reach Australia, early humans had to cross a whole continent and the Southeast Asian archipelago (with a land bridge helping at points), and the groups who settled along the way are nowhere to be found today. Australia is the last surviving "pocket."

Indians and psychedelics look similar to me. Many of us tried to get acid or shrooms, but it was so difficult that today very few show up in those subs. However, those who kept looking (like the Aborigines kept on moving) landed on 100%pb to find a suitable zone of activity, and a few things made that possible 1) Law enforcement's lack of awareness, so no legal repercussions yet; 2) An Ind-Ind company selling on the clearnet; 3) Affordability; 4) Salvia is (physiologically) safe and the duration of the trip is very short.

Everything can be explained to some extent in a cause-effect manner. There's always a reason, a pattern, a flux of enthalpy, you may say, through which we can see reality fairly accurately.

There is also a clear difference between those who grow salvia, understand its effects/mechanism, and are dedicated to the plant and the profound experiences it begets and Indians who are just desperate to find something stronger than weed (or are desperate to try psychedelics). If we do a survey over here to find out how many of us had tried some other psychedelic before salvia, many Indians would say Salvia was their first psychedelic.

This particular difference is created majorly via ignorance.

I remember a great set by Nimesh Patel that explains exactly what I am trying to convey over here.

For any Indian reading this and feeling called out, let me give you some advice, Salvia won't fill that empty void inside you. Nothing can. No one can. Maybe not even you. But once you can see where the seed of your actions is coming from (could be past trauma, adverse childhood experiences, financial issues, lack of self-esteem a.k.a. "the void"), you will be much more peaceful.

In fact, even if you want to benefit from this experience, I'd suggest you put in some work, some research, read some trip reports, read some neurochemistry and the MOA of Salvia. Start with reading its history, trace it all the way back to usage by South American Shamans, then the discovery by Westerners, isolation of Salvinorin A (read about the legend who identified this compound producing the strongest naturally-occurring psychedelic experience).

If you feel all this is too much work, then you don't deserve what Sally can actually show you. It is like giving the control of nuclear energy in the hands of a monkey. Even if you don't have a BT, you'd still not learn anything meaningful. The same goes for a lot of Indian-internet activities. Unaware, ignorant people without the capacity to understand nuance, running around embarrassing themselves and fking it up for the rest of us.

Sometimes its pure projection of childhood trauma, that is contributing to at least 80% of such a person's internet activity with them being blissfully ignorant.

Read.

Reading has by far been the most effective, strong and long-lasting psychedelic experience for me. The next has been meditation. Next is therapy (i have tried a lot of mind-manifesting substances, and they are just chemicals undergoing reactions in your brain, but also, you yourself are a biochemical reaction. Psychedelics cause a chemical reaction of consciousness.

NOTE: I am obviously not trying to offend anyone and if you cannot relate to it, then this post isn't meant for you.

First Time First timer need advice

I tried Weed, Mdma and shrooms in my life. Im going to try Salvia next week, and I would like to have respect for this substance and take it responsibly, I will have a nice Set and Setting and a Water bong.

I still have some doubt about the dosage tho, could not find real information about it, I bought 1g 20x extract leaf from a notorious headshop website but I do not understand how much actually I do need to smoke for a nice experience, I will start low of course but do not want to waste it.

Also, how frequent can it be used? I followed the 2 weeks rule for shrooms, is there anything similar for Salvia? Is it based on the dosage I took?

I just want to safely use it, thanks!

I just snipped all the imperfect leaves off my best plant so that she/he (I think salvia isn't a gender specific plant but I know the drug is said to have a feminine spirit).

The pile on the right were the burnt or dried out bits that I plucked off before I started drying it.

Trip Report / Experience First time experiencing salvia (7x extract)

Post image
21 Upvotes

cant comprehend why ppl would say a salvia experience is bad. This is like one of the coolest things ive ever done.
Im still disoriented from it. Everything has a chromatic aberration like feel to it. There werent any open eyed visual it just felt like a heavy dose of edible the but th body effects were amazing. The feeling of getting pulled down is no joke. I thought it was gonna be like a heavy feeling but NAH. Someone is definitely pulling me down. I was laughing uncontrollably for the first few mins.
If i were to explain my baseline for comparison its like my mind is inside my head and my eyes and ears are attached to it and it just lets me see and feel things outside ok. But when i was tripping my mind lowkey got out of my head and it got mixed with my sense of sight and sound and touch. Then i got up and went to my bed and laid down with my eyes closed and the visuals were insane (visuals mixed with my mind and the sensation of touch) if i saw something, it isnt just sight. Its all sound and touch too. The patterns weren't geometric but it was still beautiful.
Im someone who cannot imagine (its just black when inclose my eyes). Still the darkness was surrounded by a pinkish purple light and several patterns were morphing in and out. The patterns all were circular or ring shaped in a way.
Some times the ring would reveal a face with crystal clarity WHICH IS AMAZING CUZI CANNOT IMAGINE ANYTHING NOT EVEN AN APPLE.
its been an hour since and it kinda feels like a mild the high.
It took me like 3-4 hits btw so around 300-400mg of the extract.

Trip Report / Experience Ego death while In Derealization

I got a case of derealization after a trip on mushrooms and marju (not salvia) the most suprising part was that it wasnt after a bad trip and i have never been prone or had it happen before.

Derealization feels incredibly disturbing to me personally, becouse the part that makes drugs even worth taking is the fact that im sober or precieve my normal state as a constant that i can change short term.

At 3 days into it i had a moment of desperation and said "fuck it im smoking salvia". Probably not the greatesr idea in hindsight but no harm no foul.

I loaded a bowl of 20x in a bubbler, using glass flowers filters. Hit the whole thing in one go, but it normally isnt enough - this time it was -

I honestly didnt have a human thought after i exhaled, no human thoughts for what seemed like a long time. I didnt know anything human, or even exist inside my body....thinking back afterwards, it wasnt scary becouse I wasnt ME to be scared.

Then i started sliding back in, my eyes had been open but i didnt see anything, instead it was a snap shot like a 2d pane of reality and everything folded and grew out of the lines. I was a pane, hinged on my left side and slowly turned back as if i had gotten out of place and whoever was turning the pages noticed. The jesters mocked me, emerging from the corners of lines, they teased me and i tried to talk to them, i spoke out loud telling them why id come that i wanted help.

Then i remembered i had an identity, i had people and a life, and i got the most sickening feeling that i might never be me again. The zipper monster was coming for my identity, he wanted to eat ME, and if he did i would exist as only a husk mumbling and babbling to anyone on the outside but fully aware inside. Like a crazy person.

Then i had this crazy thing where i could SEE the derealization as this layer of woven glass seperate from me but totally infront of me between everything.

So i fed it to the zipper monster. Im not sure if it wanted to eat it or not, but it couldnt get to me anymore. And then there was alot more as i started to come down. Whole trip was probably 15min

Anywho all thats to say, it didnt help the derealizarion except give me something way more horrific. Also later looked up derealization a bit more and people describe it as a layer of glass between them and reality.

No words can ever describe salvia, its like sight to a blind person. Probably my last time with it, at least for a good while.... ive alot from it.

Cultivation Been A While Tent Update

Post image
7 Upvotes

So my best plant is really thriving especially since getting the humidity to stick around 70% RH. My two mediocre ones seem to be fairly happy too. My worst one is a dying stick that barely shows signs of life. Sadly while I was away the small fan fell on her and blew air directly into the soil drying her out and she was already suffering. I'm gonna hold out hope but if she won't come back I have a nicely growing clone that can take her place. My god thought the one in the front on the left sure looks super happy no? I almost don't want to harvest from her... I suppose if I take only the least happy looking leaves 😅

First Time First time trying Salvia, lots of psychedelic experience. What to expect? , what to prep trip sitter? Dosage for Salvia Palace 20x?

I'm going to be trying Salvia for the first time Friday and I am incredibly excited. I've tried to try every class of drug at least once and Salvia is the last thing on my list. I've tried psychedelics/hallucinogens 40+ times. Smoked DMT, ayahuasca, mushrooms, LSD, Yopo, Amanita Muscaria, Ketamine, DXM, etc.

Knowing that salvia works completely differently I was wondering how they compare from an anecdotal perspective. How will the visuals compare? I've read that it can be dysphoric, but by how much? I've previously taken deliriant doses of Benadryl so that would be my basis for comparison.

My trip sitter has never tried hallucinogens and doesn't know what to expect of me really. I've looked up some info to explain to her but what advice would you recommend I give her?

I also was curious what would a good starter dose of the 20x Salvia Palace extract would be? I have a pretty accurate milligram scale so measuring should not be an issue and was guessing about 10mg, maybe 15?

Discussion Opiate Blockers Effect on Salvanorin?

Post image

Does salvia have higher affinity for the kappa opiate receptor than suboxone or any other opiate blockers? Just curious from a pharmacology standpoint. Could an opiate blocker block salvia's effects? I feel like salvia's affinity for the kappa receptor would be too strong for most opiate blockers right? Any discussion/info is appreciated! Just Sharing Salvia somewhat underwhelming!

I just wanted to share this and ask if others have had any similar experiences!

This is about first time I really ripped an actual bowl of 40x salvia (I think it was x40 but maybe a bit more or less) a while back. For context I have extensive experience with psychedelics on drugs in general in the past. I had experienced many heroic doses of the classical psychedelics. But I was still scared to try salvia.

I tried to “break through” smoking salvia a few times with no success, so I ended up deciding to smoke a real bowl with a torch and bong. It finally worked this time and was very dysphoric and unpleasant. But not horrible or scary. Just that almost painful buzzing on my skin and my vision became like ripples/waves and sort of buzzed in a way too. Almost like having the tuning knob of my baseline consciousness shifted between “frequencies” or “channels”. Like this intuition that consciousness is fundamentally vibrations/frequencies/waves. Which was a belief I already had. But I didn’t hallucinate much of anything at all even though I was super fucked up.

Like probably couldn’t move much if I had tried. I had done a ton of psychedelics in the months leading up to this, rediscovered spirituality, and started grad school (psychology related program). So it was strange because it didn’t give me too much of an experience that raised new questions or showed me anything exactly unexpected. It sort of felt more like validation of part of my spiritual beliefs. Nothing new, not that it wasn’t helpful for the experience to reinforce my recently acquired spiritual perspectives. Same thing happened whenever I tried over the new months. It almost felt like it had to do with my familiarity with really intense psychedelic experiences. And then I had also explored my own spirituality and beliefs for a months leading up which included quite a lot of various psychedelic experiences and studying esotericism. I was meditating a ton too. Point being, there wasn’t a whole lot weighing on me at the time. So there really wasn’t a lot of unconscious material nor charged/residual affect to project outwards during the trip. But I find it strange when I hear other people describing their experiences and how wildly different they tend to be from my experiences.

Any thoughts of comments on this? Not looking for advice of anything; just hoping to make sense the discrepancies in my experiences with pretty strong doses.
