Welcome to the r/sscnapoli Weekly Discussion!

"This morning, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis met with Captain Gianluigi Aponte and his son Diego at MSC's headquarters in Geneva.

The meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours. Their presence in Switzerland was purely coincidental, as De Laurentiis was there for personal reasons and will remain for another couple of days.

The discussions focused EXCLUSIVELY on the stadium project.

The idea is that, once the Q8 site has been fully decontaminated, Napoli would acquire the land, while MSC would finance the construction of the new, futuristic stadium, either partially or entirely.

Preliminary cost estimates range between €800 million and €1 billion."

I’m going to Napoli in a couple and I’m wondering if these might be in the store when I go there

The official statement describes the injuries of Badiashile and Spinazzola.

Allegedly and by comparing similar injuries for professional players, Badiashile will be out until the 1st week of December while Spinazzola will be able to play after the November NT break.

Just moved to Paris. Want to watch Wednesday’s game somewhere other than my couch. Is there any particular bar in Paris where us Napoli fans go? Even just a Serie A bar?

Scott McTominay scored in the 83rd minute to bring Napoli 3-2 up vs Roma. His strike came in at an average of 93 km/h. We estimate the peak to be 109 km/h. What a hit! Amazing game might we add.

That ghost of Lang has to go.

Beukema must be sold, he’s so soft is unreal.

Lucca can stop playing football for all I care.

Napoli is too high level for Giovane.

We need 2 great wingers, one for each wing, a great CB and a striker.

EDIT: Of course Manna has to go at the end of the season

What do you all think?

I personally hate how last minute this comes out ( no chance to have it for the holiday). The design looks super low effort like a last minute copout. A far cry from the design last year.

Just read that ADL intimated he would like to sell the club to a Neapolitan entrepreneur when he retires. Speculation is that he is referencing Gianluigi Aponte, founder and controller of MSC shipping conglomerate. He's from near Sorrento, self-made, young, already has a relationship with the club, and worth an estimated $47B. Depending on his level of passion for football and desire to win, this could take us to the highest level of football.

Thoughts?

so for De Laurentiis either Gianluigi Aponte (MSC) buys us or nothing will change?

A team still 0 points, desperate for a win at home...

I don't know about you guys, but I don't have a good feeling about the match against Porto.

If De Laurentiis really were to sell Napoli to some investment fund, it would be the end of the club as we know it. Napoli would become just another asset owned by some faceless conglomerate, something to be sold off or downsized the moment it stopped being profitable, with no real connection to the fans or the city

Unfortunately I have guests and I can't make a long discussion.

First 3 points in Champions, we could have won with 2 goal difference but our defense was trash.

Politano now can't score for the next 20 matches but at least he played very good (unfortunately this mean no on will take his place for a month minimum)

Mctominay make it double, it's good to see that Champions man still has goals in his blood, last matches made me doubt

Kevin today was perfect, always knowing where the teamates were

We have to thank Giovane or now we would cry another draw
