Decent subreddits for general discussion?
Now that /r/srsdiscussion is on indefinite hiatus, I don't know of any place on reddit to just talk about things in general in a space that, if not safe, is at least not outright terrible. Openbroke and circlebroke are decent from what I've seen, but they focus on reddit. Is there anywhere that's just a place for people who meet the minimum standard of decent human being to talk?
In other words, what are some subreddits where this question would be appropriate?

"soonish" is what we've been getting for several months. If SRSD won't come from this as the best sub in the entire multiverse, I will be very disappointed.

Nah, I just like seeing the news from a leftist perspective, because I'm the most liberal person I know in real life and it's helpful to see more extreme positions challenging mine. I appreciate the concern, though.

r/OpenBroke has expanded to any social just related 'jerks' found on the internet, much like r/GamerGhazi has also expanded beyond GG as well, although they aren't as much of a 'discussion' community like we are. We are also trying to be better about enforcing high effort posts and encouraging discussion > counter-jerking, but it's a work in progress. We would certainly welcome any thoughtful critiques of cultural issues.
