Newly married Ranma and Akane have successfully dodged their frenemies, and gotten onboard their cruise to start their honeymoon. But just when it looks like smooth sailing, a fearsome storm emerges and sweeps the couple up and away. When they wake up, they find themselves in a Arabian Nights themed fantasy world full of humanoid bugs similar to everyone they know, but vastly different in some regard.

Turns out our newly-weds were magically summoned to help a small band of adventurers defeat an evil dragonfly king. Ranma accepts the challenge once he discovers he's twice as strong and twice as fast as he was on Earth, but Akane is fearful that her husband will want to stay in this fantasy world permanently. Will our heroes defeat the villain and save the day, and more importantly will the lovers return to their hectic reality or stay in a world where things are slightly easier.
