Currently have the Type D (yellow) coolant in the Clio IV RS CUP though it is very very low and really needs to be topped up asap. I don’t have time to do a full coolant drain and flush so the only option is to have it topped up.

Though when I went to buy the Renault Coolant they stopped making the Type D (yellow). So I bought the new Renault Coolant Type E (Blue).

Anyways there is not much of the coolant Type D (yellow) left in the reservoir so can I top it up with the new Type E (blue) mixing the two colour types without causing any ISSUES? Have any of you with the same car done this before and how was it?

Anybody else got a weird noise coming from their Renault 4? It’s not there all the time. Fairly loud on the outside and you can feel it vibrating through the foot pedals.

Pour préparer une visite, je demanderais la fiche correspondant au véhicule : batterie, possibilités de recharge AC et DC, équipements thermiques, aides au stationnement et historique d’entretien. Puis je relierais chaque différence à un usage concret. Une capacité de recharge AC supplémentaire peut compter si on utilise régulièrement des bornes adaptées ; beaucoup moins si la voiture reste branchée chez soi toute la nuit. À l’inverse, un équipement de confort apprécié tous les jours peut peser davantage que prévu.

Mon idée serait de classer les équipements en deux colonnes : ceux qui changent réellement l’usage et ceux qu’on trouve agréables sans vouloir payer beaucoup plus pour les avoir. Ça éviterait de traiter une finition supérieure comme automatiquement préférable à un exemplaire mieux suivi.

Aux propriétaires de Mégane électrique : quelle option conserveriez-vous absolument si vous deviez racheter la vôtre, et laquelle vous paraît finalement dispensable ? Précisez si possible le millésime et votre usage, pour éviter de mélanger des configurations différentes.

The recording was made with the phone inside the engine bay so i apologize for the lack of video, but the sound seems to be coming from the engine head, it only happens on cold starts after at least one day of not running every once in a while, it only lasts for a few seconds, followed by a minute of the engine running rough (no visible rpm variation at idling on the gauge though) and it s been occurring for a few weeks now. Momentarily it s not throwing any check engine or check vehicle lights, and the mechanic told me it s normal. I highly doubt it. My guess would be the timing chain since it was never replaced.

Ik heb een Renault Clio 4 uit 2017 met het originele R-Link TomTom-multimediasysteem. Mijn systeem ondersteunt Android Auto, maar helaas geen Apple CarPlay.
Ik ben op zoek naar een manier om Apple CarPlay toe te voegen, maar ik twijfel momenteel tussen een paar opties en ben benieuwd naar jullie ervaringen.
Tot nu toe heb ik twee mogelijke oplossingen gevonden:
1. Het originele systeem vervangen door een MediaNav 3
Ik heb gelezen dat het mogelijk is om een MediaNav 3-systeem uit een sloopauto te halen en dit in de Clio te installeren. Ik weet alleen niet zeker of dit compatibel is met mijn auto en of er aanpassingen nodig zijn aan de bedrading of andere onderdelen.
2. Een aftermarket CarPlay-module installeren
Op AliExpress heb ik een module gevonden die specifiek geschikt zou zijn voor mijn Renault Clio 4 en ongeveer €200 kost. Volgens de advertentie voegt deze module Apple CarPlay toe zonder dat je het originele multimediasysteem hoeft te vervangen.
Dit lijkt me op zich een interessante oplossing, maar ik vraag me af hoe goed deze modules daadwerkelijk werken en of ze betrouwbaar zijn.
