out of picture is a leather gaming chair with retractable footrest i got from FB marketplace
My main game is R6 in which i don’t play ranked very often because i just like casual playing and my job doesn’t permit me to grind for weeks but my hidden MMR had me as Diamond 2 a few seasons back when i checked which was pretty neat to see
Personally i love my setup and how it’s evolved from my freshman year of high school 7 years ago. but im still improving it. i ordered the new Finalmouse SLX achilles with the frost key i got from the Centerpiece pro. and after that i think i would get a better mic. But my job requires me to be away from home fairly often and i’m reaching the limit of “High end” before it gets into unreasonable so i think it will stay like this for a while. ask me questions and give a rating. thank you for your time!
it is an Oled, is there a different kind of OLED you’re talking about? and i agree i would prefer a 4k one but i bought the monitor a few years ago when i had a 2070 super and i am happy with the 1440p so i don’t feel like upgrading for the cost. thanks for your input!
W oled is the type that for sacrificing a little bit of color intensity (not much tbh, couple of %) gets rid of this magenta tint at day. You have a QD oled now
I’d say 9 out of 10, the only thing I would maybe add eventually is a monitor light bar so your not straining your eyes as much when playing at night. Other than that, very nice.
Anytime! I’d recommend getting a quality one like a benq or something like that. While I do love my RGB I learned fairly quickly it does not really help combat eye strain. If you do get a benq just beware you might want to get some electrical tape or something for the monitor clip just to keep it from popping off. That’s my only complaint about it, otherwise highly recommend.
Writing the RAM without the DDR is so weird haha. But I like the setup. I'm not a fan of huge microphone apparatuses. I tried slanted stacked monitora but can't use it, it's so strange to me but some people swear by it and I think it looks cool. I'd put some art on the wall or a plant or something on the desk
sorry yes it’s DDR5 CL32. i can agree with the microphone. i used to have it way closer under my face like a streamer until i’ve just been pushing it further from my vision. as for stacked monitors, i just really disliked the amount of lost desk space and head turning i was doing with my side by side monitors for years, im a big fan of the stacked and don’t think id ever go back. wall art is definitely something im trying to build up on but its a shared space, to the left of my desk is my fiancés where she scrapbooks and its got ivy/christmas lights, we have a couch behind it. the room could do with wall art but its got life. i can post a full picture of the room if you’re interested
i keep the fan light on a low light red glow, the mic doesn’t have adjustable lighting but it lights up red with pc on. and the keyboard has a screen with the legend on it and the possibility for endless images/videos (i keep it on a reactive particle effect) and the monitor has a red backlight built in
Sorry, something went wrong when loading this video.

bad monitor choice imo. for this setup W oled would be better, i would also consider something more than 1440p for 5080
