I have a 1988 t2 and I never really realized that there aren’t many companies still making aftermarket parts for us.

Lots of FD and even rx8 but not fc (and even less fb)

What are your go to companies?

(I’m looking for headlights, coolant reservoir, and an engine bay cover panel atm.)

Hey guys. Im planning on doing an V mount setup in my FC turbo series 5.

I have scanned the car to get a prototype in mi pc via 3d printing mounts, but i dont know what would be the best. I have planned 3 different options, if you have any other just tell me.

I wouldnt want to get rid off the crossmember, i think it has a crucial rigidity function.

Big one: Water radiator

Medium one: Intercooler

Small one: Oil cooler

Any advice is welcome!

I'm seriously contemplating doing a road trip across Canada and the US in a carbureted FB RX-7. Maybe I'm crazy, but I've always loved the idea of camping out of an old RX-7, exploring new places and putting some serious miles on it.

I'm curious if anyone here has actually done something similar. How did the car hold up over long distances, and am I completely insane for considering it?

I'm also debating whether a naturally aspirated rotary would be a better choice for reliability and simplicity compared to a turbo FC.

Lastly, for anyone who's driven an older rotary through Canadian winters, how do they handle cold starts and snow? Anything in particular I should be aware of?

Would love to hear some real-world experiences before I commit to the idea!

I've just rebuilt my FD engine with the sequential turbos totally stock. Even kept the 3m of emissions vacuum hose. But is there an after market ecu or changes to the stock one to improve performance without a heap of changes in the engine bay?

I've looked up options on YouTube and there's plenty of products where the driver has completely changed everything. But i just want to leave the engine bay as stock as possible.

I got some tires and insured it for 2 days so I could finally get it on the road a bit. Brakes worked OK enough so i went to go pick up a buddy, died mid intersection and cranked but wouldnt start. When i was able to push it to the side the dipstick was empty and I put 2 quarts in to get it back to full. The front most lead and trail spark plugs have a weak yellow spark and I am getting good fuel pressure. What are the next steps? OMP? Injectors?

I shared this project here eight months ago, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported PinkSlips early on. You guys took the time to check it out and leave some really useful feedback. <3

We're still working on it every day and have added a lot since then. One of the suggestions here was being able to tag parts directly in photos. You can do that now, alongside keeping your mods, exact specs and build history together on one page.

There are already 40+ RX-7s on PinkSlips, with 2,600+ builds across the platform.

Here are the three FDs in the screenshots:

• Johnson M's 1994 RX-7: a track car with a six-point cage and Samsonas six-speed dogbox. It still has working power windows, and he sometimes drives it to the track.
• 51NTH: Qu4rkz's 1999 FD, owned since July 2024. The goal is OEM+, with custom hard fuel lines and new genuine Mazda parts while keeping the factory appearance.
• Garage777's 1994 RX-7: started as a stock, 60k-mile LHD car. Now a single-turbo street build with a Ford rear end, Haltech ECU and working A/C.

For those that have shown interest in my DP SMIC, we are making progress

Trying to decide between these two for my half-bridge FD RX-7, using a 1.06 A/R twin-scroll setup.

I’ve been advised the Gen I might actually suit it better.

Anyone here running either on a similar setup? Interested to hear how you find the spool and general drivability, and whether the Gen II is worth going for.
