Is this enough to learn bookkeeping at a basic level with basic recurring transactions?

When I go to Import Data > Journal entries it takes me to spreadsheet sync instead of just letting me pick the .csv file that I've been using for years. Is there no way around this? I don't want to recreate the wheel every time I import payroll data.

All this thing does for me is add an extra step with obnoxiously slow loading times. Yay.
