So I (16m) was wondering if you actually had to shave your pubes , like is that something that needs to be done for hygiene or to prevent issues , this only came to mind because starting like a few months ago hair has started to grow and I always see people saying how it's better to shave and I wanted to know whether it's like normal or if I should.

I am currently 16 years old. I’ve been going through a growth spurt this year, which is still ongoing. However, I’m not sure if my development is progressing normally. For instance, regarding body hair: I only have hair above my genital area it doesn’t extend any further, and there is no hair on my scrotum. In my underarms, there are only a few tiny, barely visible hairs. I have no facial hair or hair on my arms. The hair on my legs only grew in one specific area this happened because I had surgery and had to wear a cast on that leg since then, practically nothing else has grown. Furthermore, I haven’t noticed any significant growth in my testicles or my penis. It’s also worth noting that I’m blonde, so I’m not sure if that affects hair visibility. My voice has changed, but it still feels very high-pitched compared to my peers’ voices. What do you think?
