I never heard of Ms. Rachel until all of this happened. Now I see her everywhere and I'm totally team Ms. Rachel now. Now I know she's kind of like a kid's Mr. Rogers but a lady person. Now I wanna watch her.. haha! My kid is 35, but I don't care. I'll watch her anyway.

u/FrequentBox2148 Sep 20 '26

She's gen Alpha's equivalent of Mr. Rodgers. Solid human.

-13

u/Technical-Arachnid22 Sep 20 '26

I would never compare her to the great Mr. Rogers. She’s more like the new more annoying Lamb Chop.

-18

u/gandalfinithegray Sep 20 '26

If mr Roger's had hamas on his platform

2

u/RedMansions Sep 21 '26

You picked a bad week to quit sniffing airplane glue.

-21

u/grayMotley Sep 20 '26

No one compares to Mr. Roger's.

He was a truly remarkable human being.

13

u/VegetaStopVegeting Sep 20 '26

Mr. Rogers was amazing and would likely think the same of Ms. Rachel. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

9

u/Oraxy51 Sep 20 '26

You should see her instagram and social media and then ask if Mr. Roger’s would be doing this too today.

18

u/SmanginSouza Sep 20 '26

Watch her. Good luck. You'll be singing along with her in no time. HOP LITTLE BUNNY HOP HOP HOP.

😂😂🤣😂😂

I feel Mr. Rogers would have been very proud of Ms. Rachel. I grew up with him on my television as a child, and the message of, "I like you just the way you are" eminates from her advocacy and show.

Mr. Rogers cared deeply for children and believed that they deserved to be cared for and cherished, and spoke to us now-adults as whole people and individuals with thoughts and feelings and an understanding that we know more about the world than adults like to think. Ms. Rachel carries Mr. Rogers' torch well, and I am glad to see that there is good in the world worth fighting for with people like her as a voice for the Children.

💗💗

-25

u/RevolutionaryGur4419 Sep 20 '26

Neither had I. Kinda genius on her part isnt it?

7

u/doesnotmatter286 Sep 20 '26

I've heard about her. She's been supporting Palestine for a while. She's been well known for a while.

3

u/According-Insect-992 Sep 20 '26

Yeah, she first got hate for befriending a disabled child victim of the IDF. The girl had lost limbs and she played with her. People were outraged.

-4

u/RevolutionaryGur4419 Sep 20 '26

Yeah...people were definitely outraged because she befriended a disabled child.

Nothing to do with posting content with a journalist who was celebrating oct 7, or who had and withheld footage of the treatment of israeli hostages.

Or liking an antisemitic comment or affirming one on her page.

It was definitely because she befriended a disabled child.

-32

u/AmiraliMS Sep 20 '26

If I were you I would conclude her reason for support was actually to get the fame. I'm saying every celebrity and their mother supports Palestine. To picture supporting the poor Muslims from the evil white Jewish supremacists as something but the safe play is ignorant to the bone

17

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

Well, you're not me. Have a nice day.

13

u/mosthandsomechef Sep 20 '26

Or she just believes in the cause.

-12

u/AmiraliMS Sep 20 '26

Of murdering babies and liberation of a dictatorship?

1

u/Luna368921 Sep 21 '26

She's against Israel so quite the opposite

3

u/ealysillyforestthing Sep 20 '26

I smell a lot disingenuousness in your comment

1

u/AmiraliMS Sep 20 '26

Why? Data shows most Americans support Palestine or don't support Israel, so how would her supporting Palestine be the "risky move"?

0

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '26

1

u/AmiraliMS Sep 20 '26

Since their customer is the said majority, YEAH???

I mean come on, nobody is more greedy than marvel, and even they work with the hulk actor after his similar comments

The age to pretend this is a an opressed opinion is over.

1

u/435rouhnj234_209u Sep 20 '26

To picture supporting the poor Muslims from the evil white Jewish supremacists as something but the safe play is ignorant to the bone

The "safe play" that got a much bigger celebrity like Macklemore dropped from his 13 year long friend's tour?

1

u/AmiraliMS Sep 20 '26

Is a friend's opinion of their friend really the depth of what you consider "consequences"?

I was thinking something like cancellation of projects and collaborations that ruin careers, like, idk, Marvel firing the hulk actor after his pro Palestine comments?

Oops, that didn't happen. They actually made a new movie with him

1

u/wholetyouinhere Sep 20 '26

Why didn't you start this whole exchange by being honest and upfront about your own biases?

-35

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '26

18

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

-31

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '26

14

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

You're very confusing and rude. Have a nice day.

-36

u/MarkSinnie Sep 20 '26

Yeah, I don't remember Mr. Rogers going after a singer but this is a new generation of kids to teach.

29

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

Mr. Rogers was very politically active. He made shows against racism and bullying. It may have been a long time ago, but he was actually kind of edgy for his time.

21

u/JuneJabber Sep 20 '26

Absolutely. And he testified in front of Congress. That’s about as direct and unequivocal as advocacy can be.

-23

u/MarkSinnie Sep 20 '26

Right, but he never went after a celebrity. That was a surprising and disappointing line she crossed.

13

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

She also aligned with a celebrity. She aligned with Macklemore.

6

u/Aggravating_Cat_6295 Sep 20 '26

She's standing up for the kids. Celebrities aren't special. Goodness knows a lot of people have gone after her for her stance on this.

3

u/CaliKindalife Sep 20 '26

You don't remember MR. Rodgers was the first person on TV to get in water with a black person. It was never done before that and society made it illegal. Thats political. He was in congress all the time fighting for public TV.

1

u/doesnotmatter286 Sep 20 '26

Do you think celebrities shouldn't be critised?

16

u/Miserable_Pin2518 Sep 20 '26

I have memories of a kiddie pool and a black guy

8

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

Yep! That episode ruffled a lot of feathers for sure.

11

u/Flenke Sep 20 '26

You don't remember Mr Rogers then.

-1

u/MarkSinnie Sep 20 '26

Which celebrity did he go after?

10

u/Flenke Sep 20 '26

He'd be disappointed you're in the side of the oppressor and making up excuses for why that's ok. Be better, it's what he'd want. If you don't get that, you missed the message

7

u/Both_Resort4080 Sep 20 '26

There's a reason you hide your comment history.

10

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '26

-1

u/MarkSinnie Sep 20 '26

But not attacking a celebrity for wrongthink.

4

u/Flenke Sep 20 '26

Attack? Silly use of that word

48

1

There is relation.

55

Free Palestine from genocidal Israel.

15

u/BusyAtilla Sep 20 '26

That funds Hamas.

-60

u/-Kazt- Sep 20 '26

Would be a lot easier if the stated goal of the current government of Gaza wasnt to genocide all of Israel and the worlds jews.

22

u/RedrunGun Sep 20 '26 edited Sep 20 '26

Population of Palestine 2026: 5.6 million

Jewish population of Egypt 1950: 50,000

Jewish population of Egypt 2026 10

7

u/IThinkItsAverage Sep 20 '26

If this sentiment was true, Israel wouldn’t be specifically targeting children. I mean it’s the children who would be the ones rebuilding Palestine. Killing the youngest generation serves only one purpose, genocide.

1

u/-Kazt- Sep 20 '26

And Hamas would wear military uniforms.

3

u/IThinkItsAverage Sep 20 '26

Your comment makes no sense. What purpose does killing children serve if the goal is to get rid of a terrorist organization? Why specifically target children?

2

u/letthetreeburn Sep 20 '26

I’ve seen this sentiment a lot but sometimes I’ve never heard one of you have an answer for

Gaza is under strict blockade, to the point where getting flour is arduous. In an impossible resources crunch where the hell do you expect them to get the materiel for uniforms?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '26

4

u/nLedd Sep 20 '26

Israel has shown 0 interest in a two-state solution. They will never allow Palestine to govern themselves. Israel is the problem.

0

u/-Kazt- Sep 20 '26

Wonder what they said about the UN plan.

3

u/CptPurpleHaze Sep 20 '26

Found another

2

u/Azzure26 Sep 20 '26

Yea without Hamas Israel would treat them as well as the West Bank Palestinians.

Oh wait

1

u/-Kazt- Sep 20 '26

Pretty sure that is better. But hey, ill happily denounce israeli settlers on the west bank.

2

u/Violet-Sumire Sep 20 '26

Bombing indiscriminately and murdering children doesn’t help free Palestine. It does the opposite in fact. If your child or grandparent got killed by someone, you’d understandably be upset and want to try and avenge them. If your child had their leg or arm removed due to bombs, you’d want to do everything to make amends.

Terror bombing only leads to more support for Hamas and less for those who are actively bombing you. Why trust the person who killed your neighbor? This shouldn’t be a hard concept to understand. Hamas is a result of Israel’s actions, it’s a symptom of a bigger issue that neither Hamas or Israel are big enough to say “maybe we shouldn’t torture our neighbors”. Novel concept that. Treat people like people and things tend to turn out alright.

-1

u/-Kazt- Sep 20 '26

Sure would help if Hamas wore unfiforms and explicit military bases, wouldnt it?

1

u/Violet-Sumire Sep 20 '26

French partisans didn’t wear uniforms. Spanish gorillas didn’t wear uniforms. The Vietcong didn’t wear uniforms. Most countries with a militia military don’t wear uniforms. Hamas is realistically a militia occupying force. You see this consistently throughout history and only standing armies from wealthy nations had the means to issue uniforms for troops. Sure, it’d be great if they identify themselves, but then you’d have to admit they are an organized force that has the means to do so, which they aren’t organized and they can’t supply their forces with the equipment they need (hence them destroying infrastructure to make weapons).

You are also expecting Hamas to fight a conventional war, which they logistically cannot. So this argument is really pointless. I understand military doctrine isn’t a universal knowledge people have, but it isn’t hard to jump to the conclusion that maybe, a nation that has been embargoed for the past 15 years doesn’t have the infrastructure to supply a standing army. Just a thought.

1

u/X_Shadows-77 Sep 20 '26

You’re not getting paid enough, clock out

These corps cannot cut off ms Rachel without losing massive profits that they depend on. They can’t do anything to control her if she decides not to fall in line. Other than hire someone to hurt her, that is. Wouldn’t put it past them.

I like that she doesn't use the "kid" side of the platform to talk about it. It's not like in the 100 easy phrases for toddlers video includes the phrase "free Palestine". She just goes to events and talks about it on the news.

I wish the people who threaten her would get specifically called out

1

u/Old_Tough_2358 Sep 20 '26

Purpose over profit is a wildly popular business model these days. Clearly those who don’t like the purpose are going to be against it. Those who do will be for it. Companies have to choose wisely in their purpose. The best ones tend to find neutral purposes that have less of a chance of driving away potential customers. I’m not sure this example is a wise choice, but if she feels strongly enough about this cause then she’s ok with driving away some to gain others.

8

u/SaucyJ4ck Sep 20 '26

Any partnership or sponsorship that depends on someone turning a blind eye to genocide is not a partnership or sponsorship that's worth the paper it's written on, much less anyone's time or attention. Good on Ms. Rachel.

3

Man, the pro genocide folks and bots are out in FULL force today

This level of support of the Palestinians would've been unthinkable even five years ago (at least in the US). The ADL and AIPAC must be having anxiety attacks.

Good.

As history's good Nazi once said "If you can do something good, why wait?"

John Rabe, possibly the greatest man of the 20th century.

1

u/Seienchin88 Sep 20 '26

You know… John Rabe was a good man but almost everything people know about him is hyperbole to make a great story.

He was really not a Nazi… he didn’t even live in Germany during the Nazi takeover and btw he also wasn’t a diplomat or had any public function.

He was a Siemens employee who entered the nsdap to keep his job in China where he preferred to live.

He also didn’t act alone - 13 foreigners grouped together but their stories don’t sound as cool as "even the Nazis were shocked“. And the Nazi government didn’t give damn about a Siemens employee being unhappy about Nanjing as well btw.

And unfortunately there is also very little evidence that the Japanese even cared about his "safety zone". The National Chinese did immediately follow his request and withdrew any soldier they could so simply by the Japanese army not finding soldiers there nor looked for them there fewer people were killed but Japanese groups did enter the zone and killed and raped there as well. The request wasn’t acknowledged by the Japanese and even if someone would have acknowledged it the Japanese army in Nanjing was basically leaderless for the first days of the massacre.

So courageous and great dude but part of a group and sadly way less impactful than usually told.

-1

u/SameDistrict2627 Sep 20 '26

Vacum head doesn't care because she's already made millions. Oh how I pine for Mr. Rodgers.

1

You think Mr. Rogers would be okay with kids being bombed?

0

u/AliceLunar Sep 20 '26

Still don't know why the Jews control everything

-3

u/Nashley7 Sep 20 '26

Man people love a witch hunt don't they. There is no stopping the mob once it gets going is there. Do you even know what really happened or are you just following the crowd? Macklemore dressed up in Jew-face in 2014. Then Macklemore dedicates songs to National Students for Justice in Palestine. The same group (SJP) referred to the Hamas-led October 7 2023 attacks in Israel as a "historic win for the Palestinian resistance" in a toolkit distributed to campus chapters shortly after the assault.

So obviously Jewish venue owners told tour organizers they would cancel upcoming shows if Macklemore remained on the bill. So Ed Sheeran not wanting to defend Jew-face and October 7 supporters publicly was in-between a rock and a hard place. But the hive mind has spoken, Ed Sheeran has failed the purity test and must be destroyed. So grab your pitchfork and lets go hunt us a witch. How do you get the cognitive dissonance to think Black-face is bad but Jew-face under the right circumstances is ok. But you don't care about the truth do you, you're just excited you've found a witch to hunt.

Enjoy your public stoning!

4

u/OkProfessor6810 Sep 20 '26

Lol.....you're cute. Macklemore has apologized many times for his actions of over a decade ago. Sheeran pulled his bullshit cowardice right now. In 2026. People can grow and change. Perhaps Ed will take a lesson from his ex friend

That story (apology covered here by the BBC) is absolutely trivially significant to just about anything. If it had been part of some kind of deliberate play where he was playing the Jewish oppressor and some of his band mates played Palestinians, that would be significant (but still small relative to the carnage happening). So yeah, I know what's happening. I also know the Hind Rajab story pretty well.

I don't care about any of these people (Macklemore or Ed Sheeran) myself - don't like their music and I get my politics from people who seriously study the matter (if anyone wants a good current and detailed understanding on the way Israel is oppressing the non-Jewish people in the West Bank, the interview of Jasper Nathanial by Current Affairs host Nathan Robinson was excellent - YouTube link here) .

Of course she never cared about Jewish kids.

1

u/supercleverid Sep 23 '26

As for Part 2, no idea. This is the first post I’ve seen mentioning her.

She spoke out against atrocities being committed against Palestinian kids. Israeli propaganda has taken extreme offense and bots are out in force.

Ironically they’re spreading her messages farther and wider as a result.

She is a mega multimillionaire (50m+) that makes content for babies 0-2 yrs. She has more recently started espousing political views, often without having the background info to do so ,(typical out of touch millionaire.)

She’s grabbing some extra spotlight for now while she can.

Probably is making money of this.

11

u/CrazyMildred Sep 20 '26

She matched the 1 million dollar donation that Macklemore gave. She GAVE a million dollars to Palestine to help the kids. I doubt her intent was to make money from it. She wants to help kids.

I thought Jews didn’t own Hollywood???? What are these lies! Everyone knows Jews have no power or wealth and anyone who says otherwise is a nazi!!! Cancel!

-16

u/BelleColibri Sep 20 '26

Totally, it’s the people that back Palestine that get canceled. That’s why it is so brave to say empty platitudes like “Free Palestine.” It’s not like all of the dominant cultural forces point in that direction or anything.

u/Puzzleheaded_Gene909 Sep 20 '26

Tf are you talking about? Our media in the US specifically avoids covering the atrocities being committed by IDF.

u/ihave18cm Sep 20 '26

She’s a communist too. How the mighty are falling 🤷🏻‍♂️

u/Buddhas_Warrior Sep 20 '26

Explain how she is a communist and proof of points in allegations. Otherwise, until proven otherwise, your allegations are heresay and just a retort.

Define communism. And apply it to her

Fuck a Palestinian and fuck a Jew.  Their bullshit has  to do with Americans, American money, American bombs, and most importantly American soldiers lives.

-11

u/SharpTopic1257 Sep 20 '26

really?! not saying a word about Israeli victims, kidnapped and murdered only focusing on Gaza? I would hardly describe her as a heroine.

-2

u/PrudentAstronomer412 Sep 20 '26

Exactly, that's why people call it antisemitic,. The hyper fixation just bc of jews. There's 10 other conflicts with more child death but we'll just focus on jews trying to fight defensive war.

This is like saying "we need to stop the genocide of Nazis because kids are getting killed" in the 40s. Reason and logic is completely lost on the younger generations today.

u/feedback19 Sep 20 '26

I'm sorry, what the fuck did you just try to say?

Backing Palestine is idiotic. Why would you back a group led by murdering terrorists? That is all that they are. And, the population obviously supports their terrorist ways.

2

u/Adbam Sep 20 '26

We are talking about kids. 20,000 Palestinian kids have died, compared to maybe 100 Israeli kids during the past 10 years. Kids are not murdering terrorists.

Why would you back a genocidal and extremely racist and xenophobic regime like Israel?? The zionists over there not only hate "Arabs" and Muslims, they also have bigoted views of Christians. In fact, these people view all non-Jews as inferior to themselves, and all will be subservient to the "Chosen Ones" (i.e. the Jewish people). And the sad thing is that this way of thinking is very prevalent throughout Israel.

That is a brainer.

Iran and Hamas pledge to kill all Israelis. Put your enemy on their death ground and they become fanatica.

u/Maximum-Class5465 Sep 20 '26

How's it political to say kids shouldn't get bombed?

2

u/dark_dark_dark_not Sep 20 '26 edited Sep 21 '26

You literally can't.

Maybe you are not involved in institutional politics, but you are doing politics by doing almost anything that helps people and takes organization to do.
