Anyone else notice this? In the first 20 minutes when Prue is riding her bike, there is Fred Armisen'a bike Messenger character stopped next to her. 🤣

I saw Wildwood the other night and there's a brief shot with Spike on his bike.

Fred Armisen got special thanks in the credits for it.

i was trying to figure out if i could get a replica or at least see it in a nice home

😄 That is all.

If you haven’t checked out their rewatch podcast, it is well worth it! Really fun to hear them talk about the show and share stories about it.

I got this 10 years ago at a Sleater Kinney concert from a stagehand. Carrie came over to me and a few fans waiting for her when we shouted AO River, and I got her to sign it(and this pic)! 10 years later, I shouted A O river after Fred’s show in Buffalo, and he did a double take before waving me over! I was too star struck to remember to ask for a picture with Fred:-/ he’s been my favorite sketch comedian since I watched him on SNL as a little kid. It might be the most Portlandia-coded Portlandia signature collection ever.

They are ubiquitous.

The reviews from this real store are written from the perspective of one of the actors trying to peruse Women & Women First. The first comment when I scrolled down was a GIF of Candice

Around the World in 80 Plates

I remember an episode where Fred and Carrie get a stenographer to record their relationship and everything they say to each other to reference in future arguments. I’m so sure I remember this on Portlandia but I can’t find it. So maybe I’m mixed up with an SnL skit or something!? Ring any bells?

So awesome to see the legend in person! During the Q and A at the end he said his favorite Portlandia skit is The Goths. ⚰️🪦 He is such a talented musician!
