Dexnav on water is so bad it’s not even funny. Really wish I caught one with perish song but I’m over it lol

Hey guys, I've been playing through pokemon alpha sapphire for the first time and i have a small question: how viable is shiny hunting on mirage spots? I have shiny hunted about 7 pokemon now (and i really enjoy the dexnav method ngl its very relaxing and rewarding imo) but i kinda want to shiny hunt a ditto. However as you probably know ditto is only available on a specific cave mirage island. It usually takes me about a week to find a shiny pokemon (probably more for this one seeing as i havent done a cave shiny hunt).

My question basically is, can I keep the same mirage island as long as I make sure that I'm on the island when closing the game? Or can i never leave to heal/buy repels.

I’ve been doing a playthrough of Alpha Sapphire in addition to XY before Bank closes, and I’m building the commonly used team of Mega Kangaskhan, Gliscor, and Blissey for the battle maison. I have over 7 boxes of Chansey, but for the life of me I can’t hatch one that has a bold nature. I’ve literally been breeding all day, as it takes considerably longer to hatch eggs than in the 8th & 9th generation games, even with a Flame Body in the party and using the hatch o-powers. Coupled with the fact that maxing out EV’s is also tedious, I don’t feel like going through the trouble only to find it’s worthless. While I probably won’t get a 200 win streak, I like to think a modest nature one should still take me pretty far. What are your thoughts? Eventually I plan to breed a bold nature one, but I’m ready to start battling.

Close combating all the way

With the online shut down you only get one island a day, but I know you can get more via passerbys. So I was curious if anyone knew if a second 3ds with pokemon x and y would also give you a second mirage island or not. I have no way to test at the moment.

I am trying to catch all the pokemon on 3ds before the shut down and this won't be something I play until December.

This is my best accomplishment in a long while. I've been making a living dex for a while now and finally I'm done with the easy part lol

I love this game so much, this gen will always have a special place in my heart

(Also since I think it's gonna be an asked question yes the Jirachi was traded by event with PKSM yes I'm lazy but I've only used it for event and unobtainable/hard mythical Pokémon please forgive me-)

Hi I want to complete the national dex as legitimately as possible in Omega Ruby for the shiny charm but I really don’t know what I’m getting myself into. I’m playing on an emulator so I can swap pokemon over from alpha sapphire so no problem there. I also have the 3 starters already so no trading needed for those. So basically I’m going to have to evolve every mon that has an evolution right? What’s the best way to level up those mons quickly to get to that final evolution? Do I have to also play pokemon X and Y for some of those mons or can I get everything i need in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? I know this will take a long time but I’m committed to doing this as legitimately as possible and really earn that shiny charm. Thanks!

So I am gonna play oras soon. And Norman's slakings are already making me shit myself.

And I want to use all mega pokemons on my team.

My starter will be mudkip.

So the only fighting type mon that can mega evolve is gallade; which is good cus it's one of my favorites.

But the problem is how do I evolve a kirlia into one. A guaranteed dawn stone is available through wally after victory road.

How do I get a dawn stone before norman as I see people talking about it being available through other methods as well even if not a guaranteed chance.

Ams second is the close combat move. There would be no fighting tms before norman (as far as I remember from emerald). But I found that a move reminder can be accessed in fallarbor town. Is it true?

If all these are possible I will be able to defeat norman with a close combat gallade. Is it possible though?

(Note: I am playing mainline games for first time. So it's on emulator and not original hardware. If there are any tricks to exploit save states in this matter, please do tell)

Shiftry: The Wickid Pokémon

Shiftry is a mysterious Pokémon that is said to live atop towering trees dating back over a thousand years. It is said to arrive on chilly, wintry winds. Feared from long ago as the guardian of forests, this Pokémon lives in a deep forest where people do not venture. It creates terrific windstorms with the fans it holds. Shiftry's large fans generate awesome gusts of wind at a speed close to 100 feet per second. The whipped-up wind blows anything away.

It looks like I jumped from Request 4 to 7, but I just forgot to mention the others two posts, the Chandelure line (Gonzo_Ghost) and Mega Chimecho (shark_syrup)! So, Shiftry, requested by LostDreams44, was a real challenge to build thanks to its head and white hair tuft running all the way down from its head to the floor! The head alone went through several drafts just to get it as accurate as possible! In the end, I have to admit it not only looks cool, but the tail actually functions as a sort of kickstand to keep Shiftry from falling over because of its "samurai sandal" feet!

Because of the white tuft, it can't really move the head around, but there's still some articulation in the arms and legs. This is a moderately dense minifigure, with a total of 63 pieces.

Poor Brendan can't seem to catch a break! Trying to break up a fight between two Shiftry, it seems one used Leaf Tornado on him!
