Obsessed with these new pants I got at Target?? They fit extremely well and aren’t too baggy, it’s hard to find good ones when you’re short and plus size.

Jean top is thrifted, but wrangler brand, and I’m 90% sure from the men’s section.

Now that it’s fall, I’m breaking out my Ruth Bader Ginsburg jumper, long sleeve shirt and heavy duty tights.

I love the loose fit and the fact that it slips easily over my head.

This jumper never fails to elicit comments (surprisingly, all positive) and compliments from strangers.

Do you have any beloved articles of clothing that you wear that starts discussions with strangers and friends?

Skirt is 3x from Amazon years ago, Top was thrifted but says "new directions" and is 3x, Belt from Amazon a couple years ago, Phone belt bag was crocheted by me, Mary Jane's from Walmart a year ago

Help a girl out. I have a wedding next week. Dress code is “cocktail, LBD, snazzy jumpsuit”. I think this is funky enough that it’s not too fancy, but worried it’s too much. I do love the way it looks on me and it’s very comfortable/good quality. I got for a steal, as well. Any suggestions on accessories would be completely appreciated!

I'm 3 weeks on from trying to wear a pair of my snag tights I bought last year and still have a rash / bruising from the gusset.

These were Huggy compression tights and I think I may have had them on back to front but the pain was so bad I had to buy a new pair of tights and change while I was out. You could see this line of red skin through the black 40 denier tights 😭

Anyone else had this experience? I am surprised at how bad tights could be!

Election time in Canada! FT my little sidekick, Winnie.

I’ve been plus size for a long time so I’ve made my own costumes until fairly recently. Here’s a selection of some.

Max from Where the Wild Things Are was made from a gray sweatshirt & sweatpants and a homemade polar fleece crown.

Batgirl used an old Catwoman pattern and was sewn from stretch crushed velvet. The belt is made of yellow bathing suit-like material with vinyl boxes, self-drafted cape, and purchased gloves. The “boots” are more like spats made from black vinyl.

Daphne from Scooby-Doo used a generic long-sleeved dress pattern in purple wool (very warm to wear) with purple ribbon for the hip stripe and headband. I made felt covers for the shoes. Scarf was thrifted.

Robin was made from three XXL shirts sewn together. The skirt is the trunk of a T-shirt. Self-drafted cape. Ben Affleck commented on this photo when I posted it to Instagram (!)

Beth from Dog the Bounty Hunter is all my own clothes (!) and a bad wig with children’s police props.

Luckily they make A League of Their Own costumes in plus size. I was able to match my co-workers for a group effort. Whew!

I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue, where Torrid pants across the board whether its jeans or leggings, are awkwardly large in the crotch and frumpy shaped in the back? Is it how I'm built or is it a quality issue?

I SAY chilly, but it's not really. It's actually pretty perf imo (16°C). I took my wee dog boy for a walk and saw some really flippin pretty flowers and trees.

I really want to wear shorter skirts but I got unlucky and most of proportions are in the apron. I’d like to hide as much as possible. Any ideas on how to style a miniskirt and other similar lengths to hide it? Thank you!

back when the latest spider man movie came out, marvel released their own version of the juicy couture track pants from the film and I couldn’t resist. I had to get my hands on them. Ive had my pair for a few months but it’s been too warm to wear them. This weekend the weather finally turned and I wore them to run errand. This outfit is simple but I felt really cute and comfortable

Finally got a chance to wear my new dress by Blackwood Castle. This photo does not do the dress justice it is so silky, comfortable, and makes me feel pretty.

As a plus size woman or feminine clothing enjoyer, what would you wear to adoption court?

We have foster children that we are hoping to adopt early next year or at least start the process for it at that time. Nothing is certain yet, but I like to have an idea early since sometimes it takes a lot of time to find clothing that are flattering and fit well for my body shape. I have a bit of an apron belly. TIA! :)

I enjoy soft colors like sage or blush pink, and tend to opt for more baggy pants/flowey skirts.

As someone that loves Lord of the Rings, I was really happy to find this one on discount at a local store:) It is from the official brand though, so it'll probably be sold in a variery of international stores.
