Xiaomi 17T or s25 ????
My priorities are battery, cameras. I plan to keep my phone 3-4 years, I mostly use social media or see content not games. I want to buy s25 but it hasn’t so good cameras for photos and the thing that concerns me the most is the battery on this phone.
On the other hand, Xiaomi 17T has all I want ( I prefer Samsung Ui btw ), good cameras, battery and okay performance. But I am concerned that it will start to lag and bug after 1-2 years because I had a redmi note 10 that lags a lot. Also they say that this phone is midrange. I heard that it heats up very quickly as well. Help me to find which one to buy….
(Tell me if 17T has ads too).

I setup my 17T removing all bloats and although I have not noticed ads in my 17T there are options in settings to turn it off. The camera is very good. 5x tele is amazing to have. Battery lasts all day of browsing internet, phone is smooth, display is good. My 17t gives on average 6 hours of sot while using insta, reddit, yt, camera and chess, lasts me all day, charging is fast. One thing about heating is I have noticed it heats up not browsing content, mainly while using camera app intensively, I cannot speak about gaming performance I don't game on phone. Performance is more than enough for daily usages.

So it doesn’t heat up if not using a lot the camera right ? Also 6hrs only for a 6500mAh battery I think it is very few

First of all, Xiaomi phones has a few apps at first, and some pre-installed bloatware. You can all delete these bloatware apps without a problem. Their system apps sometimes have ads with recommendations, but you can turn these off in the settings It takes a bit to set all this up but once done, you never have to look back at it. Second of all, Redmi phones and Xiaomi phones are very different. I had a Redmi in the past, and it was absolutely horrible, and crashed on settings. On the other hand, my brother has a Xiaomi 17T Pro and it's an absolute beast. You should know, the cheaper the phone, the more ads you're gonna get. The Xiaomi 17T series are quite on the expensive side, so it'll have less ads than a Redmi. I hope this helps you choosing!
