🧶Crochet - Tester Call [Tester Call] Serendipitous Marley Pullover XL long sleeve

Hi, fellow crocheters! 🧶

I’m Boho Sue, the designer behind SueDotta Design, and I’m preparing my original Serendipitous Marley Pullover for its very first pattern test!

I’m looking for three experienced crocheters who enjoy garment construction and are willing to provide honest, detailed feedback.

Pattern Name and Project Description: Serendipitous Marley Pullover — a relaxed, top-down raglan crochet sweater featuring textured stitches, decorative V-stitch sections, petite bobbles, and pointed edging.

Type of Project: Crochet garment.

Pattern Format: Written instructions using US crochet terminology.

Sizes/Options Being Tested: Original 2XL sample only. Finished bust circumference is 50 inches. Additional sizes are planned for future testing.

Recommended Skill Level: Intermediate or experienced crocheter, preferably familiar with raglan construction.

Materials Needed: Bulky #5 yarn (original sample uses Premier Puzzle in Maze), 5.0 mm and 5.5 mm crochet hooks, stitch markers, measuring tape, yarn needle, and scissors. Wooden beads are used on the sample’s decorative waist hem. Testers provide their own materials. Yarn substitutions of comparable weight are welcome, subject to approval.

Tester Requirements:
Comfort reading written crochet patterns
Ability to follow garment construction instructions
Record stitch counts and finished measurements
Report unclear instructions or errors
Provide progress and finished-object photographs privately
Keep the unpublished pattern confidential

Testing Deadline: Approximately 4–6 weeks after receiving the draft. The exact completion date will be confirmed before testing begins.

Deliverables: Written feedback, stitch counts, yarn usage, finished measurements, and photographs. Public social media posts are not required.

How to Apply:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTAqGTgpGC8bUEbdU0fqc5ugpkytBJnO7oSxFZr-lsfjpCeQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor

Application Deadline: November 1, 2026

Tester Selection: Selected applicants will be contacted by November 3, 2026

Number of Testers Needed: At least 3
Selected testers will receive the draft pattern free of charge. Testing will begin once the instructions are ready for distribution.

Thank you for considering being part of my very first pattern testing adventure!
