Best password manager for Android and Windows?
I've never really used a password manager and usually disable it whenever I set up a browser. I'm now thinking of finally using one across both Android and Windows.
I've been looking at Bitwarden and Google Password Manager, and both seem good. Google has impressed me with its ecosystem integration and compatibility so far, so I'm also considering sticking with it. I don't mind Google collecting some data, as complete privacy is difficult to achieve anyway, and I'm comfortable with the features it offers.
Which password manager would you recommend for someone starting out? Should I go with Google Password Manager for convenience or Bitwarden for more flexibility and features? If neither is the best option, are there any better alternatives?
My main requirement is to use the same password manager on both Android and Windows, with good syncing, autofill, and overall compatibility.
Also, do Google Password Manager and Bitwarden work well across different browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, and other popular browsers? I currently use Edge on both Android and Windows, but it has a few minor issues that affect my experience, so I might switch browsers in the future. I'd prefer a password manager that isn't tied to just one browser.
I'm open to both free and paid options.
