Finally have a valid passport (my last one having expired in 2013 as a child). Always a bit bummed my parents never pursued getting me US citizenship before I turned 18 through my grandparent (father never met the residency requirements) but being Aussie is still a great privilege nonetheless. Looking forward to the travel it will unlock for me :)

Hi everyone!
I’m planning a trip to Southeast Asia in March 2027, visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
I’ll be traveling with an Italian passport, and I’d love to collect passport stamps from each country as a souvenir of my trip.
Does anyone know which of these countries still stamp passports upon entry and exit? I’ve heard that some countries have switched to digital immigration systems and no longer issue physical stamps.
Is it possible to request a stamp from an immigration officer if they don’t normally provide one?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences, especially if you’ve traveled with an EU passport.
