Stroller wagon for 3u3?

Gonna have my 4th child this winter. I’m looking for a STURDY 4 seater stroller wagon that can withstand different terrains. Mostly I’d use it at petting farms and sidewalk walking but also sometimes I tend to off-road a bit with my current double stroller. So something that can take a beating on the wheels. And maybe fit well into a trunk lol.

5 car seats in Odyssey

• Upvotes

Just found out about #5. We have kids aged 6, 4, 2, & 1. We have a 2018 Odyssey (<3).

The 6 & 4 year olds are in Graco Turbo Boosters in the 3rd row. The 2 & 1 year olds are in Graco Extend2Fit Convertable Carseats in the 2nd row. I also have packed away a Nuna Pipa LX (?) that is likely now expired.

How do I best fit all these boosters & carseats in my Odyssey? I'm imagining 2 slim boosters and a slim forward facing convertable carseat in the 3rd row, and keeping the Extend2Fits in the 2nd row.

But a big part of me is sick of the car seat Tetris and knows my kids are only going to get bigger - especially considering they're all taking after my 6'3" husband. And this part of me is scoping out passenger vans. But that's probably dramatic, right?

Other families with 5 kids this close together, what solutions do you suggest?

Going from 1 to 2 kids

For those of you who had a second baby with a 3.5 year age gap, especially those of you who had an easy toddler, how did you handle the transition? Did having an easy, independent older child make things easier, or was it still a huge adjustment? Did you feel like you lost the freedom and routine you had finally found?

I know every baby and family is different, but I’d really love to hear honest experiences from people who understand what it’s like to have a toddler who makes life feel so manageable that the thought of starting over feels scary, even when you really want another baby.
