Rant! Something about Zoe

Hey all

Am I the only one that thinks Zoe is extremely dumb and works hard to wreck every chance she is given? (Notice I am NOT talking about the decision to keep the baby!)

For example, the scene when she is offered a paralegal job by Julia and then she just decides to stand up the interviewer is disgusting - even though she does not have a high school diploma this is exactly how you get a job out of your league, you go to the interview and make a good case for yourself... Case in point: My current job required an accounting degree and CPA license which I do not have, but I still interviewed and managed to get in anyway... Her blowing off the interview would give her a HUGE black mark in real life.

Also the way she seems to try take every opportunity to run without explaining anything really pisses me off... She could at the very least use her words!

Probably because Julia was trying to buy her baby so she felt icky being given things she knew she wasnt qualified for. Julia is the one who seemed to overstep here to me. Like she was bribing this girl who had nothing all because she was pregnant and Julia wanted the baby.

Which is exactly the way to overcome a bad start... She could also have used her words at any point instead of making things infinitely harder both for herself and for everyone around her

Sounds true to her character. An lowly educated young mother-to-be struggling to get by. She has confidence issues and is skeptical of anyone outside of her family helping her. It is frustrating as hell to see someone not take hold of opportunities like this, but I know a few people that would do the same thing. That kind of person going to a professional interview as a paralegal in a job that you know virtually nothing about is scary.

i mostly felt bad for her... she didnt know what to do and yeah she was annoying in times like this... but julia was going about it kinda wrong even if she did have good intentions towards the end... zoe was struggling because she was alone, pregnant and had a meh boyfriend... girl just wanted her mom probably so im glad she got that in the end
