How's the Elemis balm compare to other cleansing balms? I've got a mini of the original sitting in my drawer waiting for me to finish my current one.

I haven't used other cleansing balms, but I use a cleansing oil. I find the Elemis to be very thick, and it does not remove my mascara very well, unfortunately

It is a solid cleanser, but I don't feel the need to change my current cleanser. It foams well and isn't stripping. It struggled to cleanse my mascara after the Elemis cleansing balm, but so did my current cleanser - I feel this is more an issue with the Elemis.

To be completely honest, my hair has a slight wave, but it's definitely not curly - I used it as I got it for free, but I wouldn't purchase as it's not really for me. It smelled really nice, and did seem to add some hydration without weighing my hair down

I really liked it! It lasted well on me, and to me it was quite unique - you could definitely smell the tea, but it was also a bit woody without being overly masculine.
